One of my favorite places in the city. The crispy chicken is a real hit, and overall the food is great, with a great vibe and excellent drinks.

The food was okay. Some dishes were very good (the pasta entrees), some were bad (the risotto) - appetizers 7/10.
Top service. Friendly, approachable, and explained the dishes and wine well.
Fair price.
Ambience: Nice and busy place, but extremely noisy. You have to shout to hear each other; I went home with tinnitus. Perhaps it's better to reduce the number of tables.

A very nice place, and the chef is undoubtedly talented, offering creative and well-thought-out dishes. One small point, however, is that the octopus I ordered, despite being accompanied by perfectly balanced ingredients, was unfortunately very tough and therefore almost inedible (freezing it first would have been enough to avoid this).
So, it's probably always a good idea to remember the basics! :-)
That said, it's still a place I recommend.

We had dinner at Gesto with a group of friends. We shared several starters, all truly excellent (especially the eggplant), and then continued with a few main courses, less than one each. I generally found the sharing appetizers both more interesting and more successful than the main courses. The place is beautiful, and the service was attentive. With a cocktail each and wine, we paid €60 each.

I visited Gesture with a group of friends for an aperitivo and we had a great time. Excellent food. The dishes—perhaps meant to be shared—are both unique and delicious. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.
