Gerbillo Furioso In Roma

The first pub with board games we've come across, we love the atmosphere and the kindness of those who work there. They've also replenished their assortment of games since the last time we came, though I'd recommend getting some more with faster, easier-to-understand games (and adding some desserts beyond the Nutella wrap). There are also games for just two people. Fantastic anyway :)

Rustic and welcoming environment, not huge but we didn't have any problems with large crowds. Tolkien-themed menu (so it's practically HOME for me), good food, wide variety of beers and spirits and also very kind guys who, to apologize for the delay in service (which wasn't their fault among other things), offered us a drink and also gave us a discount. Every week they organize different evenings, including karaoke and live music. For me it was a really nice experience and I can't wait to go back 😊

Very nice and charming place. Very stocked with drinks, but above all with board games. Courteous staff. Food ok.

Non è stata la prima volta che ho visitato questo posto e anzi, successivamente ci sono tornata in diverse occasioni (sempre trovata benissimo), ma voglio porre la mia attenzione a Gennaio 2024 perché è stato all'effettivo il giorno dove ho portato "più caos". Ho deciso di festeggiare lì i miei 30 anni, 50 invitati tutti vestiti da vecchi essendo perfino una festa a tema. Il personale è stato adorabile, seppur il luogo non è così grande ha cercato comunque di venirci incontro il più possibile permettendomi di avere una splendida serata in compagnia dei miei amici. Il servizio è stato eccellente, il cibo, seppur non abbiano un menù vastissimo essendo comunque un'associazione culturale e non un ristorante, era ottimo, i vari cocktail e birre qualcosa di spaziale; tutti mi hanno detto più e più volte di esserne rimasti piacevolmente soddisfatti e insomma, riuscire a mettere d'accordo 50 persone non è una cosina da poco. Per il costo invece posso dire che non è così eccessivamente alto come si possa pensare, anzi, è molto abordabile, soprattutto se si considera la posizione (e né io, né i miei amici navighiamo nell'oro, quello con lo stipendio più alto sfiora i 1.200 se si sfonda di straordinari in fabbrica.) In generale consigliatissimo, anche solo per passare una serata tranquilla in compagnia o perché no, anche in solitaria se si ha voglia di un buon drink.
