Excellent restaurant serving traditional Bergamo cuisine. Reservations are recommended. We went for lunch on a Sunday. We had a cured meats and giardiniera appetizer, mixed meats with taragna polenta and potatoes, sorbets, water, wine, coffee, and liqueur. Everything was excellent, with generous portions. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was informal and relaxed.

It is a typical restaurant of the Bergamo valleys where the polenta taragna is the flagship, accompanying the various second courses of meat which vary from baked shank, donkey meat and large game such as deer, braised stews and so on....
The first courses are also part of the typical Bergamo cuisine, risotto with porcini mushrooms, a rolled egg pasta with cooked ham, spinach and cheese inside and the typical Bergamo-style casoncelli. The first courses you can decide to eat or just one, or 2 types or even as I usually do the trio, a nice large plate with a bit of all 3 types of pasta....
To taste, first of all the appetizers also belong to the typical Bergamo cuisine and vary from typical cured meats, cheeses and various pickles and in oil such as mushrooms....
The cellar, in my opinion is the only flaw, does not have a great choice of wines, for example when we go there we take a dark wine from Valtellina (Sassella)
