We drove from Postojna to Trieste specifically to eat Italian gelato for dessert. We don't have much pistachio ice cream available in Finland, and if we do, it's terrible. That's why I always eat pistachio ice cream abroad when it's available. I've tried dozens and this one was almost certainly the best. As a second scoop I had Rocher, which was also great. My wife had the same, her portion is in the picture :) The place was busy, really popular. Friendly service.

The most famous ice cream parlor in Trieste. There are an overwhelming number of flavors. The fruit flavors are too sweet. Among their own creations, there are many very interesting ones, such as the Millefoglie (Crem Slice), a traditional Hungarian-Austrian-Slovenian cake. The prices are outrageously high! We paid €12!

Huge selection and delicious gelato! The gelato is artisanal and you can taste it. I also recommend trying the "Senza Nome" (Nameless), which was created by mixing several flavors. Highly recommended.
