Del Ponte is one of those places where they do a little bit of everything, and they're good at it.
The place is very large, and honestly, I find it beautiful.
Personally, I'd always go back for two things: the focaccia di Recco and the trofie.
The former is a must, among the best I've ever eaten. Crispy in all the right places, soft in others, and above all, loaded with cheese and made to order.
The trofie are very generous, creamy in the mouth, with lots of pesto and enhanced with potatoes and green beans.
This time I also tried the pansoti with walnut sauce, but I'm sorry, but I'm a big no. The sauce and pansoti were rather bland, and everything was quite heavy.
I found some of the prices quite high, like the trofie, which, while good, still cost €16.
The service, however, was truly very kind and attentive.
I recommend it if you're having a simple dinner with friends, where you want simplicity well done, and where the idea that they do a little bit of everything, including pizza, will reassure you.
All this, however, knowing that they charge quite a bit; whether it's high or fair is up to you to decide after your experience.

Typical Ligurian restaurant with pizzeria.
Focaccia di Recco, delicious both the classic version with stracchino and the stracchino and pesto version.
The fresh pasta with pesto, green beans, and potatoes is truly excellent and very filling.
The classic pizza is good (I haven't tried the gourmet pizza yet).
The desserts are delicious, especially the artisanal ones.

Excellent food, plenty of choice, even pizzas! It's a shame, though, that the atmosphere is quite noisy and the service isn't exactly coordinated between the kitchen and the pizzeria (the last time we were at the table, one person had finished eating and the others hadn't yet started). Still, it's a place I'd recommend.

An excellent corner of Liguria transplanted to Milan: I know the twin venues in Genoa and Recco well and this one lives up to the comparison perfectly.

I have been to this restaurant several times, I have tasted many different dishes, from pizza to fish, passing through pasta al peste and the inevitable Ligurian focaccia. It is all good, cooked with care and attention. I also compliment all the waiting staff, in particular Yeimi who very kindly solved a problem I had with a pizza. I recommend it to everyone, both for the vast choice of dishes, and for the kindness and courtesy of all the staff

Excellent restaurant where everything is very good. Generous portions and the dishes are always hot.
They were very helpful with us, we called late Saturday afternoon to book for Saturday evening, they found us a place even though they were full.
We had to wait a bit for our order to be taken, but they were really full, however upon explicit request made at the cashier to have the children eat immediately they accepted the request and in a very short time the children were enjoying an excellent trofie with pesto, potatoes and green beans.
Once the order was taken the waiting times were more than fair for the amount of people present.
The fried fish was excellent, generous and varied. The pizza was also really good and light.
At the end of the dinner the boy in charge of our table also came to apologize for the wait, so well done!
Ultimately I am satisfied, I made a good impression by bringing new friends, because they all ate well and as always I will return at the first available opportunity.
