Gelateria Verde Pistacchio In Roma

We recently tried a handful of shops around Rome include this travel inspired gelateria called Verde Pistacho along Via Nazionale not far from Piazza della Repubblica. Opening hours are 12pm to 8pm (weekdays) and 12pm to 11pm on weekdays. Order at the counter and pay at the cute pistachio green coloured milk van passenger seat cashier area. They have a fair number of traditional and other interesting gelato flavours and prices are fine. During our visit we tried a large cup with four flavours; including pistachio with salt, coffee, milk and the unique Alexander (cinnamon, coffee & hazelnut) flavour. Milk and Coffee were just fine, more enjoyed was the blended Alexander and most enjoyed was the salted pistachio, which was really nice. Overall, this was a good gelateria that we were glad to find. Would be happy to enjoy another cup here during future visits to Rome.
