Gelateria Sioli e Bissoli In Milano

Sioli e Bissoli is now a certainty here in Milan. Definitely one of the best ice cream shops I've ever been to. What makes the difference, however, is not only the mastery in using excellent raw materials or the ability to always reinvent themselves, offering new flavors and combinations every year, but the kindness and warmth of the staff and, above all, of the owners, courteous and always present for customers. The quality and work spent behind the creation of their products is felt and frankly, sometimes, spending a few euros more is really worth it. I don't go to Sioli e Bissoli for the classic ice cream: it's a special moment, in which I feel like I'm part of the family, savoring the freshness of their granitas or the creaminess of their ice creams. I attach the photo of a tiramisu of their production. What can I say, exceptional, both in flavor and appearance: clean, elegant, fine, but at the same time enveloping and well-balanced. Go to Sioli e Bissoli, try it and believe it.

The ice cream at this ice cream shop is undoubtedly good – and always has been. Flavors like dark chocolate and hazelnut remain certainties, well-balanced, intense and creamy. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. I enter the ice cream shop on a muggy evening, and inside it is dying of heat: there is no air conditioning, which makes the wait even more difficult, especially with so many people in line. I understand Saturday evening, but perhaps it would be a good idea to organize things better, especially with the staff. At the counter I am served by a girl who is clearly inexperienced – and let me be clear, I don't blame her – but at the busiest time perhaps it would be a good idea to pair her with someone more knowledgeable. I order a cone with two flavors, dark chocolate and hazelnut. When she tries to put the chocolate on, half of it falls out, and what's left is barely a taste. She puts the hazelnut, the biscuit, on top, and gives it to me like that, practically empty. I kindly point out that half the ice cream is missing, and she simply replies that yes, it fell. Ok, but at these prices (and we know that ice cream in Milan is a luxury nowadays), if you fall, you make me a new one. In the end she suggests putting it in a separate cup - but what's more, it's not even the same chocolate as before. In short, the ice cream is good, but between the heat, disorganization and poor service, the experience was truly disappointing. Too bad, because it wouldn't take much to make everything up to the quality of the product.

Excellent service from the entire staff, very attentive to customer satisfaction, and the ice cream was delicious, some of the best we've tried on our entire trip. 100% recommended.

When you have to look for uncommon places for a culinary stop, then you find an experience that gives pleasant results. The place is modern, bright with the right moments to sit and relax. Helped by kind and attentive staff. Very good ice creams, elegant chocolates with special Valrhona aromas and croissants for a quality breakfast.
