Excellent cannoli and excellent frappé (wide selection of sugar-free ice creams)!

I discovered this gelateria through a friend, and I went there today for the first time. I was looking for sugar-free gelato and was amazed by how good it was. Absolutely the best! Thanks also to Cristina, who, besides being very kind and friendly, also managed to recommend the perfect pairing! I'll be back and I highly recommend her!

I'm so glad I went to Gelateria Messina today. They had the flavor I look forward to every year, something I've never seen in other gelato shops: a Sicilian fruit I fell in love with during my visits to the island: the prickly pear. Vittorio produces this "gelato" (using water, not milk) for only a short time because only the best, fully ripe fruits are used for his artisanal creations. Cristina, behind the counter, let my friend and I taste a gelato, telling us it was their best year ever. And the flavor and texture proved her right! I love the fact that the black seeds are immersed in this water-based delight, because those seeds are part of what I appreciate when I eat the prickly pears I find at the market when they're in season. My wife and I are having a party tonight, so I brought home a liter (almost all that was left), and I know our guests will enjoy trying it too! I think Cristina and Vittorio wished I hadn't brought so much, since Cristina had told them she couldn't wait to eat some; and I think Vittorio did too. I don't live near the gelateria, but it's definitely worth a stop! Wide selection of lactose-free flavors. I wasn't expecting such a creamy and delicious lactose-free ice cream. ☺️

For ages, if you want good gelato, you've gone to Messina, and even if you want a great breakfast, served by the smiling, friendly, and welcoming Cristina. Not to mention the always fresh and delicious pastries.

Excellent ice cream shop, very kind and welcoming staff, delicious and fresh products. BEWARE of anyone who writes otherwise. I had a great time and will gladly return. I ordered a cake and I must say that my guests were delighted with the flavor, freshness, and beauty of the cake.

Very welcoming place, as are the staff. I went with my dear old friend and we were greeted by Cristina's enthusiasm. She accompanied us on this incredible experience, and she's great at listening and making recommendations based on the customer's tastes! The croissants are fantastic, as are the fillings, and the service is truly excellent.

Top, sugar-free ice cream is a great idea, not to mention the fact that it's not nauseating. Creamy, tasty, and made with quality products, you can taste it. Cakes: The cakes have a great blend of flavors, the Chantilly cream is truly delicious!!! I recommend it.
