Gelateria: Livia Il gelato naturale In Saluzzo

Update October 2024: Yesterday we visited Livia's gelateria for the sixth time this year, 3 times during our summer vacation, 3 times during October. We tasted at least 8 types of ice cream – I cannot describe this flavor experience!!! Every type was wonderful and Livia is creating new types of special ice cream all the time. Additionally she taught me how to prepare chestnuts for dessert. I am sorry that I do not have a caravan to buy ice cream for my freezer at home… I hope to return to this gelateria next year! Thank you so much!!! Today we visited Livia's gelateria for the second time this year. We tasted five types of ice cream – every taste was WONDERFUL. Livia is a warm-hearted and patient person who taught me wonderful things about local products (e.g. Ramassin grape). Furthermore, her German language skills are excellent. When I return to Piedmont I will certainly make a stopover at Livia's gelateria. Thank you so much!

Best ice cream we ate in Italy! The tastes are original and delicious, the welcome is incredible! Best value for money!

Ice cream shop discovered by chance, wonderful discovery! Simple, welcoming, clean and bright environment. Smiling and very kind staff. And ice cream... Some classic flavours, the basic ones, but with details that enhance them. E.g. the pistachio is from Stigliano and not from Bronte, (but how many pistachio plants must there be in Bronte😂), and the ice cream maker knows the history of the "pistachio grove" of Stigliano... Then there are the creative flavours, many of them, from the Abate pear to the bonet passing through the chestnut... Vegan flavours, such as violin pumpkin with toasted seeds... Attention: closes for the winter break on October 21st.

An amazing ice cream, with a milky flavor I've never tasted before. You can feel that it is a genuine product, made with awareness and love. The pistachio is highly recommended, it really surprised me.

Italia es famosa por los helados, pero incluso por el estándar italiano, esta modesta heladería sirve helados absolutamente excelentes. Muchos sabores, todos elaborados localmente en la propia tienda. Está a 5 minutos a pie del centro de Saluzzo, pero sin duda vale la pena.

Livia....dovrebbe essere riconosciuta come Patrimonio dell'umanità! Non possiamo più farne a meno. Se assaggi i suoi gelati, tutto il resto è nulla

If I could go there every day I would, warm welcome, nice atmosphere and what can I say about the gelato, a marvel, many flavors, natural, very good quality products, you can feel it and all that for a price more than reasonable.

Great welcome, the sales woman speaks French, she was able to guide us in our choices. The person who makes the ice cream was able to tell us about his creations. I recommend ++++ Ice cream suitable for everyone ♡

Excellent discovery. We quickly understand why it has the reputation of being the best ice cream parlor in Saluzzo. A warm welcome, quality products and incredible know-how which is evident in the incredible taste of the ice creams served! A treat.

According to many, it is the best ice cream in Saluzzo... They are probably right! Last experience: Raspberry (without milk but very creamy, tasty, a surprise), Profumo di Sicilia (cassata with added chocolate flakes and pistachios, a BOMB). Cone/cup 2 flavors for 3 Euros, with a rather generous quantity of ice cream. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
