16/06/2025: Beautiful experience at Castello di Verrazzano! We took part in the visit with tasting and lunch, accompanied by Daniel, a kind and knowledgeable sommelier. Despite the heat, he took care to keep us cool. He passionately told us the history of the castle and explained the wines in a clear and engaging way, suitable for everyone. All for €68 per person: excellent value for money. They suggested spring and then autumn, during the grape harvest, as ideal periods to visit. Recommended!

The guided tour through the centuries-old cellars was both informative and immersive. Our guide shared fascinating insights into the Verrazzano family history and the winemaking process, all with warmth and passion. The castle itself is beautifully preserved, rich with character and charm. The wine tasting was the highlight — a generous selection of Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan blends, and their exquisite balsamic vinegar, all paired with locally produced cheeses and meats. Each pour told a story of tradition, care, and terroir. Their Chianti Classico Riserva was a standout: bold, elegant, and perfectly balanced. The staff was incredibly welcoming, making us feel like honored guests rather than tourists. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just someone seeking a beautiful Tuscan escape, Castello di Verrazzano delivers an authentic and enriching experience.
