This place is located a little far from where we live but when we pass by there it is half a fixed place. The peculiarity of this ice cream shop, beyond the vast choice and the impeccable service, is the fact that we can find dairy-free and gluten-free flavours, which is not something to be taken for granted for those with intolerance and allergy problems. We are very satisfied. WE WILL BE BACK VERY SOON

We have had few ice-cream form the seaside walk, but if you are willing to walk extra 10min away from the premade you will have 5* flavours to choose and you want be disappointed. Best ice cream so far. Great service and prices. I highly recommend it.

Dopo qualche esperienza non positiva sulla passeggiata di Viareggio, abbiamo cercato le recensioni su trip advisor e siamo arrivati in questa gelateria artigianale che ti rimette al mondo. Gelato ottimo, gusti particolari, personale gentile, prezzi più che onesti. Da ritornare presto

laboratorio del gelato

10/08/2024: Creaminess doesn't make the taste. Impeccable consistency but very very disappointing pistachio. Maybe it's because pistachio is a bit of a "measurer" of mine for ice cream parlors, but I don't demand excellence, only honesty: Laboratorio del gelato doesn't reach my taste buds. Quite the opposite for peanut and salted caramel which opens a delicate and aggressive path at the same time. Banana chock very good but a little predictable, overall a good ice cream but not exceptional. I definitely need to try other flavors and will update my review

Ristoro il Giglio

08/12/2024: We went to Il Giglio for lunch and had a great time, we ate the risotto with pumpkin, cabbage and chestnuts which was delicious, the place is original and the staff were very kind! We will be back soon.
02/11/2024: Very good restaurant. Nice atmosphere, delicious food, nice service. Everything fits here!
