The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, the cuisine impeccable and worthy of much more than five stars. I discovered this place by chance and finally today we went! Well what can I say everything AMAZING. From the aperitif to lunch the staff welcomed us and served us with disarming kindness, all the love and commitment they put into what they do shines through. We had the honor of eating unique dishes, decisive but delicate at the same time. The owner also recommended we eat snails (a first for everyone) and they were delicious! The thing that made the experience even more suggestive was the choice of the table enclosed in a niche that "pampered" us for the whole lunch. We can't wait to go back already! Thank you for everything, it was wonderful!

Entering the Mondschein is living an authentic experience. Starting from the welcome where the antiqued furnishings with wisdom and great taste, the warmth of Paolo and his staff accompany you with wisdom but discretion on their journey. The presentation of the dishes is accurate and the excellent quality of the products is combined with the use of raw materials from the area in which the herbs that surround the structure are an integral part of the dishes offered. The venison carpaccio as an appetizer and the spaghetti with chicken broth or the herb buttons are exceptional. It was a lunch of passage, it's a shame not to have gone into more depth, absolutely to return with more calm

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. Beautiful place, with attention to every detail, staff always attentive and kind. Every time you come back they welcome you with great warmth. Sublime dishes accompanied by excellent wines. For me a point of reference every time I stay in Sappada.

Moonshine Sappada: a gastronomic certainty that never disappoints Whenever I can, I am happy to return to Moonshine in Sappada, and this time too the experience lived up to expectations. It wasn't my first visit, but every time they manage to surprise me with carefully crafted dishes and perfectly balanced flavours. We went for lunch and started with a fried egg on Gorgonzola and broccoli cream, an appetizer that was able to enhance the contrast between the creaminess of the cheese and the delicacy of the vegetables, with the yolk that tied everything together in a sublime way. Followed by a deer cooked to perfection, accompanied by a pear cooked in saffron and star anise, a refined combination that added a deep, spicy note to the meat, enhancing the flavor without overpowering it. The onion soup was another great classic masterfully executed: warm, enveloping and with that irresistible gratin that made every spoonful a small pleasure. But the real strong point of Moonshine remain the desserts, always surprising and with attention to the smallest details. A perfect ending to a lunch that confirms, once again, the quality of this restaurant. In addition to the excellent cuisine, what makes Moonshine special is the service and hospitality, which are difficult to find elsewhere. The staff is attentive, helpful and capable of making you feel at home, without ever being intrusive. Hospitality that truly makes the difference and makes each visit a unique experience. If you are looking for a place to eat well in Sappada, with a warm atmosphere and impeccable service, Moonshine is a safe choice. I'll be back as soon as I can!

An ambitious experience that offers the art of haute cuisine. Not a dinner, a real culinary journey. Preparation, courtesy, attention to detail, all top marks. We tried the tasting menu with wine pairing. And here, FINALLY, I found the technical preparation that I was hoping to find. I also had the opportunity to see the kitchens and talk to the staff and employees: goosebumps! Congratulations, really. I can confidently confirm that the experience (dinner is short) is among the top 5 of my life.
