Excellent granita, fresh cream, balanced sweetness.
I have to make a comment about the service at the counter, but I'll start by saying that it's hard to find motivated, kind, and polite staff these days because "people" work like robots just for money, without passion. I walk in, say good morning, and the counter girl with her black hair tied back doesn't respond, her gaze downcast, serious, and stern. She doesn't understand that if it weren't for us customers, she wouldn't be working there. However, in this place, I must say that I've encountered friendly shop assistants and counter girls who understand that anyone who enters isn't just a number like those who nibble at the gate.

I can't understand how anyone can write a bad review of a place (or rather two) where you can enjoy the best granita coffee with cream and brioche in all of Sicily (and therefore the world).

Gelateria Graniteria Eden in Messina offers very delicious ice cream with generous portions. The brioche is fresh, the service is fast, and the staff is polite and friendly. We really enjoyed it!

A Messina, Bar Eden è una vera certezza per chi cerca l’autenticità dei sapori siciliani. Le brioche, calde e appena sfornate, sono semplicemente ineguagliabili: fragranti fuori, soffici dentro, perfette da accompagnare alle granite.
Le granite? Un trionfo di gusto. Dal classico limone alla golosa gianduia, passando per il cioccolato e la regina di tutte: la granita di mandorle, vera, corposa e profumata come da tradizione.
Il tutto servito da un personale gentile e professionale, che rende ogni visita ancora più piacevole.
Insomma, una tappa obbligata ogni volta che si ha voglia di un’autentica granita siciliana.
