We spent a week in Amelia in September last year - a beautiful city with great people! And of course we also wanted to visit Gelateria Girotti! Unfortunately it was closed at the beginning due to the weather, but in the end we were still able to enjoy the ice cream. There was a good selection, so we tried everything over the last few days - very tasty! In addition, the ambience was reminiscent of Terence Hill's great films and the special attitude to life that is expressed in them... The quite small but beautiful gelateria and the ice cream are highly recommended! This also applies to the Pasticceria Russo opposite. We really enjoyed sitting there to enjoy the old town with a coffee… Best regards Julia & Tim

It's a shame it's temporarily closed. I'm currently on a bike tour from Cologne to Naples and really wanted to take a 50km detour to eat my first ice cream in Italy there. Then unfortunately I had to read yesterday that it was closed. Well, there's nothing you can do... but I'm still giving it 5 stars as a thank you for the many great hours of watching films while I had to wait for the Christ child or the Easter bunny. Greetings from my tour.

Fantastic ice cream, surprisingly good :)! Really recommended! The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. If you don't know that the shop belongs to Terence Hill (Mario Girotti), you'll only realize it once you're inside the hall, which is decorated with numerous film posters. The town with its small streets and the cathedral is worth a walk, so Terence Hill fans and everyone else, go by and enjoy! We went from Hungary to Florence and then made a little detour on the way to Puglia. It was worth it!

A must for every fan. The ice cream is very tasty (even without pistachio today) 😂 and the ambience is somehow very special. It was definitely worth the trip for us. Grazie mille

I absolutely can not believe that just now, a few minutes ago, I found out that there's a dream come true opportunity for me to eat gelato at a place of one of my two childhood heroes, Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer. 🥰And it's just two little hours away from where I live since last year, since moving here to Italy from Germany. 🇮🇹❤️ Our holidays in the beginning of September will definitely begin in this beautiful place with a buon gelato in a unique and for me very special place. I can't wait to visit. 🥰

Il gelato è eccezionale, preparato con ingredienti freschissimi e locali. La gelateria artigianale con nuova gestione sta conquistando tutti. L'ambiente è accogliente e il personale gentile. Una tappa imperdibile per chi visita Amelia!

10/02/2025: Trovato per caso osservando le recensioni su internet, confermo la bontà e la qualità dei prodotti. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di salumi formaggi e bruschette, ottimo! Mi ha colpito la freschezza dei prodotti, e la particolare crema di piselli sulla bruschetta: squisita. Poi siamo passati ad un antipasto misto di verdure, tutte completamente fatte in casa, delicate, con un sapore genuino, mi hanno letteralmente rapita e non è cosa solita trovare qualcuno che cucini bene le verdure al ristorante. A seguire due primi, gnocchi fatti in casa, un piatto con ragù di anatra, l’altro con crema di zucca, speck e zucchine: consistenza degli gnocchi perfetta ed il condimento incredibile. I sapori di una volta. Anche sui dolci recensione positiva, specialmente il croccante in vasetto con crema amarene e sbriciolata di nocciola e biscotto: sembrava di mangiare il croccante algida, il mio preferito! Quando saremo di passaggio nuovamente saprò dove fermarmi. Un plauso ai camerieri, gentilissimi, attenti e con il sorriso.
24/01/2025: Buono il cibo, cucina tipica ma non solo anche pizze... personale cortese e il ristorante è accogliente. Nella buona stagione dispone anche di tavoli all'aperto. Se passate di qua provatelo.

06/10/2024: The Trippini restaurant is located in the beautiful and evocative village of Civitella del Lago. The Trippini family's restaurant is well-kept and elegant. Luca's welcome and service are impeccable. Paolo's cuisine is an experience absolutely worth trying. If you have any particular dietary requirements, do not hesitate to let them know in advance and you will certainly be satisfied. There were five of us and a totally plant-based menu was designed for me, as I am vegan, while for a friend of ours, a totally gluten-free and lactose-free menu. All truly excellent, with original and refined combinations. It is not a given to find this openness towards the different needs of customers, therefore, I renew my gratitude to Paolo and Luca, we will come to visit you soon.
