Gelateria Frescolatte In Monopoli

This is one of the best ice creams we have tried in the Puglia region. They are distinguished not only by a wide selection of flavors, but also by excellent quality. Everyone will find something for themselves, and the nice and polite service makes the visit even more pleasant. I definitely recommend it!

Devo dire la verità ero un po’ scettico visto che la sera che siamo andati noi a mangiare il gelato non c’era folla, ma dopo aver assaggiato il gelato posso dire che è il gelato più buono che abbia mai mangiato, mentre c’è lo gustavamo dicevamo sempre la stessa cosa ma quanto è buono… andateci e non vi sbaglierete…

It's not your usual ice cream. It's real artisanal ice cream. Stored in characteristic containers with lids, a true delicacy. Each flavor perfectly contains the main ingredient, there is not just the aroma like in a common ice cream. The consistency of the ingredients is really well blended. The only complaint is that whether it's in a cup or cone, the ice cream is very little, just a taste. Considering the price, at least a little more can be granted.

The ice cream shop is welcoming but small and the queue is easy in high season as it is a very tourist area (close to the village and the port). The staff appears quick and professional. The flavors are not numerous but they are interesting and the raw materials seem to be refined. However, pay attention to the price list, written small near the cash register... after several minutes in line you may have surprises especially if you are used to ice creams that are equally good, in the price range of €1.50 to €2.50 for the smallest. .... Here if you want small ice creams with cream we are around 4 euros each (not even with just one flavor is cream included), then a couple of small ice creams are around 8.......the same c@rt@ yes it refused to authorize the transaction despite being perfectly functional....classic place for R@dCh1c until a few years ago Monopoli wasn't like this... and it has always been touristy....
