I walked into a random shop and didn't take any photos, but I ate my favorite gelato here - peach flavor, which was refreshing and tasted like a real peach. It was so delicious that I can't forget it.

A must-visit if you're in Rome, especially if you're celiac. The ice cream is AMAZING, and everything is 100% gluten-free, even the wafers! It's a pleasure to be able to order whatever you want without fear. We tried several flavors and they were all delicious, including the lemon ice cream.

We were a little sceptical because this place is situated in a touristic spot, so we were not sure we were falling in a tourist trap, but we were pleasantly surprised. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly and was worth the wait. The gelato was good, and I especially enjoyed the affogato (a nice touch is that you can choose the flavor you prefer for it). It is a place to try if you are in the zone

Of course when in Rome you have to try an affogato. Tucked away about half a block from the pantheon in a alleyway. Cute little spot and it also has a WC. Getting to the affogato. When shot of espresso with a scoop of vanilla to make it simple. They were not shy with the scoop. I had a large and it was plenty for me. Although I wanted more. Very rich and of course the espresso was delicious.

05/10/2025: Perfect for a quick stop: inside, there are high tables for a quick bite, while outside, there are more comfortable tables under the gazebos. A wide selection of pan pizzas, both Roman and "scrocchiarelle," made with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Reasonable prices and friendly, always helpful staff. A great option for a delicious pizza without the wait.

20/10/2025: Cool little cafe/bar serving very tasty raw burgers/sandwiches. The bread, burger pattys and sauces were all very good. Portion sizes are small for the price though, I could have easily eaten another one and probably still not been overly full. Maybe adding at least a side salad to the larger plates on their menu would help bulk things out a little?
18/10/2025: It's a rare dream when I go to Écru. For me, a vegan who is demanding about quality, it's the only place in Rome!
