06/01/2026: Epiphany lunch. I've been missing this place for a while, but sadly, today I feel like it's not what it used to be. The €35 adult menu is fine, but the €25 kids menu is fine, but that doesn't mean kids don't appreciate the quality. Discount-priced cooked ham, orecchiette with ragù for half the plate, cold and half hot. The waitress asks if the children's cutlets have arrived, and when she says no, they arrive 45 minutes later only because they'd asked for them again. The cutlets arrive with raw potatoes soaked in oil, and the little girl herself (5 years old) tells the passing waiter that he can take it away. The girls' meat arrived after coffee, when I was enjoying a very cold barrel-aged grappa in a cicchetto, except for everyone else who enjoyed it in a suitable glass and, most importantly, at room temperature...
What can I say? I've been back, but I won't, and I'm going back to the person who recommended it.
04/01/2026: Quiet and clean place, but I had different expectations for lunch. I expected more generous portions, obviously what you'd expect if you eat in a tavern. Instead, the portions were very small...
