The absolute best in Trieste, both for vegan ice creams and creamy spreads. It's a shame that, being a bit further out than other newer, but much lower quality, places, it's less well-known and popular. It's an institution, and the only place I always go to without fail. The best.

25/07/2025: This is a lovely, local, family run restaurant. Don't come here expecting airs and graces. Instead, come here for the best spaghetti carbonara you're ever likely to eat, wonderful fish of the day and three very special puddings. It's a 'simple' menu, full of classic Italian pasta dishes. It's all delicious. The service was lovely with an excellent wine recommendation. It's never going to be fancy and, to me, the joy of it is that it's not. Just relax, take your time and enjoy the fabulous food.
25/07/2025: Had a truly delicious meal, followed by an incredible desert, Tiramisu is *highly* recommended. Our server was delightful and lovely to talk to, no complaints at all
