Gelateria Alberto Pica In Roma

I wish I had more than 5 stars to give to this place. I discovered their rice gelato nearly 20 years ago and it is still as good today as it was that first time. It’s like they took an incredible rice pudding and froze it. I’ve never had gelato so good. On my last trip I went as many times as I could and still can’t get enough. The rice flavors especially blew my mind. The folks working here are very kind, and offer some unexpected but delightful pairing suggestions.

Definitely one of the best gelatos in Rome. The rice and cinnamon gelato is a must-try.

The ice cream was good, but the owners were not very friendly and encouraged consumption. The prices were high and they wanted to be chic, but the cleanliness needed to be improved.

I went to several ice cream shops to find rice pudding ice cream. It's pure delight here! The owner is absolutely adorable, the atmosphere is very chic Italian.

We had a fantastic night here. This place is a hidden gem, but the real gem is Salvatore! Ask for him.

For me, it's among the best gelato shops in Rome. The place is well-kept and spotlessly clean. If you sit outside, they bring the gelato in chilled metal cups for a small surcharge, and the gelato is always plentiful. I recommend the strawberry cream and the setteveli.
