Despite the good location, the environment is modest, the menu is modest, and the waiters are pushy. The food was not bad, but they didn't offer anything extra or outstanding... everything was so average! It's really ridiculous that at the end of the meal they brought out 3 pieces of limocello, which are given as gifts in other places, here they were included in the bill... although I must say the price was a pittance!

This restaurant is an underrated gem located in a beautiful spot by the northern edge of lake Garda. Manuela was our server and she was friendly, attentive and a pleasure to meet. I had the lake trout and grilled vegetables for my main meal which were excellent. I also recommend the tortolino cioccoleto and pistachio semifreddo for dessert, and the grappa aged in an Amarone barrel. I don't remember the full name of this grappa but you should order it -- and enjoy the drink itself plus the fun way in which it is served.

Excellent food & service, simple home made traditional Italian food. Menu vague & did not state what came with dishes, waiter asked if I'd like anything with my pork with truffle jus, therefore I chose fries & grilled mediterranean vegetables. When the food arrived it came with parmentier potatoes and grilled mediterranean vegetables anyway! So at 6€ per side, we wasted 12€, my family helped eat most of it but it was too much and not necessary.

Very friendly service, and the food was also very tasty. The only thing that was a bit odd was that the second (empty) plate for the children and the last of three dishes (pasta with Bolognese) arrived 20 minutes after the first two. A bit more timely would have been nice, so everyone could eat at roughly the same time. Otherwise, we would come back here anytime.

07/10/2025: I loved this cafe. I got gelato from here. The gelato I got was the flavours apricot and hazelnut, and they were delicious and it is nearby the pizza restaurant we dined in Pizzeria Da Andrea, and it was only 3-4 minutes from the AirBNB we stayed in during our visit to Italy. I highly recommend this place.
12/08/2025: Absolutely top-notch value for money, and the taste was a dream. The pizza – we had the Quattro Formaggi – was truly world-class. The sweet pastries were also heavenly. We were only a little disappointed with the service: The staff was very friendly, but clearly overworked. It was extremely busy at lunchtime, and with only two waitresses and one dishwasher, it was simply not enough. Nevertheless, we would come back anytime – we were absolutely thrilled with the taste and the price.

Baita Ischia

30/08/2025: Pleasant atmosphere, very good food, fabulous desserts, fantastic staff, very patient, polite, and always smiling. We've been coming to the Fassa Valley for five years, and we've been stopping at Baita Ischia for five years, and it's always a pleasure to go! Congratulations!
13/08/2025: Refreshment point next to the Campitello playground/adventure park. The facility is nice, with a spacious outdoor area with tables and umbrellas, and a children's playroom inside. The restrooms are large and clean, including a changing table. Friendly staff. We stopped for a snack, and had an excellent slice of Sacher torte and a strudel, making it worth a return visit!
