Geier In Nago-torbole

The service and place are awesome, but the food I didn’t like it. I tried the fried seafood and it came out with a lot of small fishes and very much taste of oil. My boyfriend didn’t liked much his meal also. Maybe it’s a nice place for a drink or pizza (I saw another reviews that it has good pizza)

They put a lot on it, for such a price it's very good. The staff is polite. I recommend it👍

We spontaneously visited on a Wednesday evening and I personally have to say that this restaurant has gone downhill (I was there years ago). You are seated straight away and then you wait, members of staff walk past and wait some more. It took almost 20 minutes before we could place our order. Drinks also took longer. Some guests who were seated later had their drinks or food before us. Pizza was okay, but we personally have much better ones in Torbole. The Caesar salad was okay. Unfortunately the lettuce leaves were not chopped up and the Parmesan pieces were not chopped up either. In our opinion the prices are also overpriced for some of the dishes. We also had to wait a long time to pay and we had to get our attention several times. The atmosphere is nice, as it is by the water, but you sometimes have to look at the trash cans. We wouldn't eat here again.

The staff is quite hectically running around between the counter, the kitchen, and the guests, both inside and outside. Sure, things have to move quickly, but they can't look like wild chickens. If I, as a hotel or restaurant, want to present something, then I would like to have a uniform look with the hotel logo, but not everyone in their street clothes. This isn't a snack bar. The staff should also be more attentive. Not just keeping an eye on one guest with their order, but also looking left or right to see if the other guests also have something to order. I tried eye contact, but often I wasn't noticed. That creates a bad impression; during my time there, I even saw new guests leave, with the staff looking astonished. But it's actually quite simple: You offer a table and hand out menus and drink lists. Then the guest is welcome, and you have five minutes for other guests until they place their first order. Perhaps the staff should be trained accordingly. The food was worth the price and delicious, and also appetizingly presented.

Very good Italian cuisine. Maybe the dishes could be refined a bit more, but it's really decent.

Pleasant restaurant directly on the lake with a beautiful view! Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. (especially for me as I have several intolerances) they also have several gluten-free dishes and even desserts. The cuisine was very good.
