One of the best bars in Milan Let's start with the location, perfect as it's just steps from the Duomo. The service is nothing short of excellent: we stopped here for an aperitivo and were served by a super kind and professional guy. Definitely worth a try.

Al Kafi is run by a friendly family who sat down and explained to me the sandwiches and the coffee is great. The price is excellent. I recommend it. It is a quiet place.

¡Qué lugar tan maravilloso! Vale la pena. John "la leyenda" era un camarero y amigo increíble! La comida era increíble y de primera categoría - por estar a solo 5 minutos del duomo el precio era increíble! La comida era muy buena, especialmente la calidad. John hizo que toda la experiencia fuera un placer, ¡volveremos seguro! ¡Nos vemos en septiembre!

04/10/2025: This trattoria is crowded, perhaps because the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The menu is reminiscent of a home-style menu, with a short list, but the dishes are excellent and carefully prepared. The informal atmosphere is very welcoming. Well done, a surprise for Milan, a place where you can breathe in the joyful atmosphere of times gone by. Thank you!
28/09/2025: We were here for breakfast twice in a row because the ambience is just so cosy and the coffee is just too good. The pastries are freshly baked with so much love and it cannot get more authentic than this. Service staffs are super friendly and their faces lit up whenever a customer walks in. It is a place where you can experience some local community warmth and buzz, definitely our happy place in Milan. Would try their lunch and dinner next round if we are around this area again!
