Good restaurant. Tried it for lunch. Delicious knife steak despite the "tropical heat" these days. Nice to have lunch under the arcades.

Exceptional food. All prepared by them at home according to traditional recipes with a very pleasant presentation of the dishes. We took a menu with 4 appetizers, first choice, second course and dessert. All of excellent quality. Delicious and roasted agnolotti that melts in your mouth. Compliments!

Simple place that reconciles you with restaurants, and these days that's not a given. You can have lunch outside, under a characteristic and spacious porch. Even inside there is no noise, the television is at minimum volume and does not disturb, there are even some books available to customers. Fast and smiling service, simple dishes but with some refinement. The flavors are good and the virtues of the ingredients can be perceived. Even the house wine in bulk is not the usual acidity, but has its own quality. As for desserts, not the usual pre-packaged ones, few but carefully prepared. Totally satisfied with starters, first course and dessert, wine and coffee with 20 euros, completely correct. Totally recommended and congratulations to the management.

Di passaggio ci siamo fermati a pranzo.
Menù da 11 euro comprensivo di due piatti a scelta tra antipasti, primi e secondi.
Noi abbiamo anche preso il dolce e abbiamo speso 15 euro a testa.
Tutto buonissimo e abbondante.
Personale gentile e disponibile.
Servizio celere se avete fretta va molto bene.

Typical Piedmontese trattoria, red checkered tablecloths and above the table there is a menu in front of each person, the environment is familiar. They make you feel at ease and once you sit at the table the cook explains the menus to you. The menus are never the same because the dishes are always prepared with fresh products chosen from time to time. My family and I went for my birthday and had a great meal. We chose the tasting menu and were satisfied with both the quality and quantity. The service was also satisfactory. I recommend trying this restaurant and you won't regret it.

We were greeted with smiles and red checkered tablecloths.
The atmosphere is that of a small and welcoming family restaurant a few steps from the castle of Villanova Solaro.
The friendly chef Luca sat at the table with us and described the menu to us.
Up to this point it seemed like we had happily stumbled upon one of the old places, and that would have been lucky because it is far from easy to find more.
But when the welcome aperitif and the first starters arrived, it was immediately clear that in reality it was much more.
We took the tasting menu and it was a happy choice because the cuisine is absolutely of an excellent standard.
The delicious decomposed burrata, the old-fashioned veal with tuna sauce, the raviole from Val Varaita, the gobbi with herbs from Luca's gardens, the tajarin, the cheese clock
with the fortified wine, the desserts... everything was a real pleasure: with every forkful all the passion for things done well came out.
The icing on the cake: an amazing quality/price ratio.
Dear Luca and your very kind wife, we had a really good time and we can't wait to come back to visit you!!
