We came for dinner to celebrate my partner's birthday. We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was truly friendly and polite. The place is truly beautiful and well-kept, especially the lovely outdoor veranda. Definitely a place we'll return to. Highly recommended 👍🏻

We went to dinner here with another couple. The menu is unusual, but the quality is average. Nothing particularly exciting, but overall, it's not bad. The wine list is excellent.

I went on a warm summer evening with some colleagues to the Osteria del Gatto Nero for the first time, and the surprise was very pleasant, we sat on a cool terrace surrounded by greenery, accompanied by excellent food, local wines accompanied by attentive and professional staff. Well done to everyone!!!

In a beautiful little place in the countryside, with a wonderful garden, you will find this nice little restaurant/trattoria. The homemade pasta is excellent, the food is decent overall. The dessert trolley is very well stocked, 5 stars for the homemade mascarpone made by them.

Al Gattonero Osteria con Giardino, ogni dettaglio sembra pensato per trasformare una semplice cena in un’esperienza da raccontare. E questa volta, il gattonero ha davvero portato fortuna: una serata perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista, resa ancora più speciale dalla compagnia travolgente di Danilo e Tiziana; due anime romane autentiche, capaci di riempire l’atmosfera di calore, allegria e quella romanità irresistibile che conquista al primo sorriso. La cucina? Un trionfo. Si è aperto con un antipasto che era già una promessa mantenuta: culatello di rara delicatezza, parmigiano reggiano stagionato con carattere e una composta di pere che legava tutto con una dolcezza elegante. A seguire, gli gnocchini ripieni di salsiccia e formaggio filante: piccoli scrigni di gusto, ricchi e appaganti. I cappelletti in brodo, caldi e avvolgenti, sapevano di casa, di domeniche in famiglia, con un brodo limpido e intenso che scaldava il cuore. Ma la vera apoteosi è arrivata con il carrello dei dolci: un girotondo di golosità che ha lasciato tutti senza parole — dalla zuppa inglese cremosa al semifreddo al gianduia, dalla torta al cioccolato con una punta di piccantezza intrigante fino all’inatteso, sorprendente tiramisù alla liquirizia(è bastato solo assaggiarne un cucchiaino). Una chiusura dolce, originale, memorabile. Insomma, se il gatto nero è tradizionalmente visto come portatore di sfortuna, questa volta ha portato solo cose belle. Ottimo cibo, risate sincere e una compagnia da incorniciare. È proprio vero: certe serate hanno un sapore speciale e questa rimarrà nel cuore a luogo. Chapeau

There are experiences that go beyond simply "eating well": they become moments to remember, to tell, to relive with a smile. The evening at Gattonero Osteria con Giardino was exactly this: a perfect mix of taste, atmosphere and, above all, wonderful company. Danilo and Tiziana, true Roman spirits, brought with them all the warmth, irony and generosity typical of the Capital. Between sincere laughter and passionate stories, they made the dinner even more special, transforming the table into a small corner of Rome. The menu? Simply sublime. We started with a textbook appetizer: soft and fragrant culatello, flakes of parmigiano reggiano seasoned to perfection, combined with a pear compote that delicately enhanced its flavor. Then, a delicious surprise: gnocchini stuffed with sausage and stringy cheese, a small indulgence that no one could resist. The cappelletti in broth, comfort food par excellence, were a hymn to tradition: handmade pasta and an intense, warm and enveloping broth. And just when you thought you had reached the peak, here is the dessert trolley, a real parade of temptations: the creamy and well-balanced trifle, the semifreddo with rich and velvety gianduia chocolate, a chocolate cake with a spicy and unexpected touch... The only regret: not having also taken the liquorice tiramisu... bold and surprising, a teaspoon was enough to elect it probably the best ever eaten. An evening like this is a reminder that good food and good company are the most powerful combination there is. Rating: 10 cum laude. I'll be back. And I'll bring friends.
