Gastromario In Roma

We went to this café every morning for breakfast. We highly recommend it. The pastries are very good, especially the ones with cream and the lemon tart, and the staff is very welcoming. I haven't found a better hot chocolate than the one at Gastromario in Rome. Finally, they also have savory sandwiches that look delicious, which we took for our journey.

Small but well-organized. Very friendly. You eat at the table, and the croissants are truly excellent. We recommend it. Keep it up, guys!

Super place! It was my first visit, I'd already heard about the place, and since I was in the area, I wanted to stop by! I stopped by late in the morning looking for bread; they were out of stock, but I wanted to try something savory, so I decided to try one of their stuffed croissants. I'm vegetarian, and even though there wasn't an alternative available at the time, the counter staff, along with the cook, suggested a savory croissant with goat cheese (I think) and fermented and roasted endive. It was really good, and they were super kind! I'll definitely stop by for breakfast later! See you soon!

Homemade, plentiful. Surprising.

Since I moved here, I've ONLY come here for breakfast. But what can I say? Everything here is GOOD, in fact, delicious. Plain croissants, croissants with cream, pain au chocolat with double cocoa, cinnamon rolls... and so on. I recommend trying EVERYTHING; you won't regret it 😍 The coffee? Good too. The staff? Very kind, attentive, and friendly. The location is also super cute: you can sit both inside and outside, where there's a lovely patio with plenty of tables. The place is located in a quiet area, and sitting outside to drink your coffee is very pleasant. Excellent value.

A small trattoria (I had some delicious pasta, a shape I wasn't familiar with) and a good artisanal tiramisu. There's a limited seating, some outside on a small platform, and some inside.

Wonderful pastries for breakfast, aromatic coffee, welcoming environment and polite staff. (I hope we didn't drive the waiter crazy hahaha) - the Greeks!

During my stay in Rome, I was delighted to have a cappuccino and a croissant there every morning. The welcome is truly warm.
