Gastone In Firenze

Excellent lunch at Gastone! Fresh fish, cooked to perfection! Young and friendly staff...recommended if you want to make a good impression on someone! What can I say? WELL DONE GUYS!

The fish is really good! It's a shame the portions are so small.

I visited Ristorante Gastone on a Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised. The welcome entrée was excellent: a cod meatball with onion sauce. The scallops with garlic sauce and Patanegra lard were delicious, although the garlic was a bit overpowering for my taste. The tuna-filled tortelli with pumpkin and parmesan were delicious, while the mezzepaccheri with pistachio pesto and sea bream were tasty, but the pistachios were a bit overwhelming. The mixed fried fish and desserts were excellent. The staff was very courteous and attentive, and the restaurant was well-kept and welcoming. The value for money is more than good, especially considering that seafood is the star of the show and that the restaurant is located right in the city center.

Everything was perfect. The dishes were well-prepared and the service was excellent.

Excellent fish, even the scampi are really good and well cooked, even the fried fish is really well done, I recommend it if you love fish and are in the center of Florence. Wide selection of wines, high prices, but in the fish range, a place to eat well and leave satisfied.

We had dinner at this restaurant on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful meal! The lobster linguine was exceptional; I highly recommend it, as well as the raw fish appetizer, which was very varied and carefully prepared.

A super dining experience for fish lovers. We came to celebrate Christmas Eve with the family as part of our Florence trip. High quality fish, extremely fresh and tasty and highly professional team, always taking care of every need of our table and providing valuable advice for our choice of food and wines. Highly recommended if you’re in Florence and fancy a fish meal for a change.

Coming to Gastone is always a pleasure! Besides the welcoming and refined atmosphere, the seafood dishes stand out, made with top-quality ingredients. And when it comes to seafood, that's essential! The lobster linguine is amazing, made with love, and the amberjack fillet is the best I've ever eaten. There's an excellent and vast selection of Italian wines. And finally, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful! Lorenzo and Dario are truly friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Nice place, both the starters and the meat are delicious! We'll definitely be back.
