Back in May of 2024 I gave this restaurant a solid five stars.
Now in October 2025 I only give it three stars.
The food was just OK this time as well as the service

Yesterday, I went with a couple of friends to the Gastone restaurant in Florence. I had the freshest fish, raw seafood, and oysters. Linguine with lobster and various grilled fish. Everything was excellent, and the service was exceptional. The staff were extremely kind and professional, and there was a wide selection of wines and desserts.

First time at this restaurant. What can I say...we had a great dinner. The atmosphere is youthful and fresh, the service is informal yet attentive, and you feel right at home (we were served by a very young woman whose name I didn't ask, but who was truly very nice and knowledgeable). The food was excellent. We had two hot mixed appetizers of the chef's choice and two very good fried dishes. The desserts were excellent. I think I've found my seafood restaurant in Florence. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Amazing restaurant. Away from the tourist trails. Food, service, wine list, everything is top notch. Want to come back here again and again.

I have known this place for years now and I never get tired of going back. Here everything is made with great care, starting with the ingredients. Not a bad dish, not a bad combination, everything is simply exquisite. As well as the friendliness and professionalism of the waiting staff (Mattia, Lorenzo and the others). Among the desserts, two masterpieces but I won't tell you which ones: try them all and you'll find out!
Thank you for existing! I'll miss you during the holidays...

Tutto ottimo,pesce trattato in maniera semplice,molte cose crude,quindi sicuramente di ottima qualità.I primi piatti molto buoni e particolari.Bella carta dei vini.Il tiramisù ti viene preparato al tavolo,super espresso,molto buono.Servizio non invadente,gentile e preparato.Ottima serata,grazie!

Cucina di alto livello a partire dal prodotto , all’ impiattamento gourmet , e alla cura dei dettagli . Ottima carta dei vini a partire dallo champagne, ma anche ampia scelta di vini di diverse aree geografiche italiane e tipologie dai bianchi ai rossi .
