Unfortunately, this restaurant has become very expensive, tomato soup costs 9.50 euros! We have been coming to this restaurant for many years now we avoid it... Many friends are also very 🙁. Dishes are missing even where they were super good! Soups side dishes salad overpriced the beers too warm every time.

The Weisses Rössl is right on the 1st place in Kaltern. In the middle of the main square, the house and the neighborhood form a historical ensemble. The journey through time continues inside. You feel like you're spending the night in a Medici mansion. Biedermeier and Art Nouveau furniture are carefully draped throughout the guesthouse alongside centuries-old artifacts. The ballroom is the highlight and a theme seems to be the many old keys all over the walls. Those who have a special key to the hearts of visitors are the people in service. Everyone is very accommodating and reads your every wish. This applies to both the room staff and the restaurants on the ground floor. Above are the rooms whose furnishings exude 1960s chic, but are immaculately clean and the bathroom has just been renovated. Atheists should be careful of the church bells opposite, which ring extra loudly in Catholic Italy, or simply take ear plugs with them.

We spent two nights at the Weisses Rössl. The historic building is beautiful and is located right in the old town. We were able to park our car in the backyard for free. The furnishings are very special and well thought out, with many loving details. The hotel staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the breakfast, there is something for everyone. In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant, which we can also highly recommend. We felt completely comfortable!

The Hotel Weisses Rössl is a time-honored house and you can feel the charm of bygone times. Unfortunately, times have also passed in the rooms. We stayed there for two nights in September. The room was very large, but it does get a bit restless early in the morning due to the central location when delivery traffic starts. People who are sensitive to noise should also take into account the proximity to the church tower, which also rings at night, which is also due to the central location. The room was probably last renovated 40 years ago. Even if it was clean and old carpeting and slightly worn furniture don't have to be a problem, criticism is warranted at the latest when it comes to the price of the overnight stay. Old tiles in the bathroom, a bathtub with a shower curtain and a broken soap dish leave something to be desired and are more reminiscent of the price level of a mechanic's accommodation than of an upscale hotel. Supply and demand regulate the price, especially in high season, but the price-performance ratio here is in no way correct and is the reason why I cannot recommend this hotel. The breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
