Wonderful restaurant! This evening we had the pleasant position of sitting right at the bar at one of the small round tables! Such a great service team, led by the friendly older lady manager; everyone was in a great mood and did their job with joy and absolute commitment! I'm in the restaurant industry myself and can speak for myself! A very tough job in a tourist hotspot! And then to experience something like this! 100 out of 100 points!

I only used the restaurant. It has a lovely terrace on a pleasant square. Lunch was really tasty, but not cheap for what you get.

A very nice guesthouse, particularly distinguished by its very welcoming hosts. The rooms are decorated in keeping with the ambiance of the entire hotel and take you on a journey back in time. Both the food in the restaurant and the breakfast were delicious. The location in the center of town is perfect for exploring Kaltern and the surrounding area, even by public transport.

The hotel is located right in the center of Kaltern. Everything is quite dated, but still quite good. The breakfast is also decent. The staff was very friendly.

I'm reviewing this restaurant because I've only had the chance to try it. The service is friendly and smiling, all the staff are female. The food is excellent, the best I've had in South Tyrol. Highly recommended.

Wunderschönes Hotel und Restaurant mit tollen Gerichten! Haben 2 nächte verbracht und jeden Tag dort gegessen. Frühstück ist auch super! Zimmer mit Liebe arrangiert. Und natürlich perfekte Lage. Haben auch sehr gut geschlafen.

07/10/2025: Very good and delicious food, great views, very friendly hosts, a beautiful and cozy hut! And the Kaiserschmarrn is fantastic! About a 30-minute walk from the Alte Säge parking lot.

Santnerpasshütte - Rifugio Passo Santner

25/06/2025: L’estetica dell’edificio ha fatto molto Discutere. Eravamo curiosi di verificare di persona come fosse stato costruito il nuovo rifugio. Dall’esterno ammetto che non eravamo così convinti di sostare qui. In realtà è stata una piacevole scoperta la maxi terrazza con panorama mozzafiato. L’interno è completamente in legno, personale gentile e disponibile. Prezzi nella media. Porzioni abbondanti e piatti curati ( anche se la scelta è limitata , non fanno praticamente secondi… solo pasta, panini e taglieri). Nel complesso siamo stati bene, sosta consigliata dopo trekking impegnativo/ferrata.
24/06/2025: People who work here are very kind, food is delicious. Next time we will deffinitely make a reservation to stay overnight 😊
