Nice place to fortify yourself after the ascent to the Marlinger Höhenweg. Best view of Meran and Dorf Tirol. The food was very tasty, whether it was macaroni, Kaiserschmarrn or chestnut cake. Service also very friendly.

Terrace with a gigantic view! The service was totally friendly and uncomplicated, even if you ordered a piece of cake after the actual bill... Our food was excellent and of the best quality, the salad was totally fresh. For dessert we recommend the absolutely delicious chestnut cake!

We have been coming to Merano and the “Senn am Egg” for three years. Very friendly hosts & staff, very good cuisine with the best view of Meran and the beautiful mountains. We enjoyed the great food again today. The homemade tagliatelle with vegetables are great, the pepper stick was simply wonderful, the coleslaw is also great, it couldn't be better. Keep it up! We had dinner here with the family. Every meal was super delicious and handmade. You could watch the service through the window as fresh herbs were picked from the farm garden... homemade juice etc. A great price-performance ratio. That's how gastronomy works

Top location, great food, feel-good atmosphere at its finest. Keep it up! Addition: We were here again today (2 days later). Onion roast was awesome. I will definitely come back next year. Price/performance is definitely still right here!!!

We spent a few days of vacation in South Tyrol. We had dinner twice in the Senn am Egg restaurant. The quality of the food, the warmth of the hosts, the ambience deserve the rating excellent. We can highly recommend this restaurant. Anna and Josef Hiesiger

I almost never give 5 stars to everything. But everything was perfect here. A family business that does it with passion. Here you can get typical hut dishes, which are more than excellent and tastefully prepared. We go here every holiday and are thrilled every time. Keep it up 👍
