Gasthaus Prunster In Parcines

We set out from the village of Parcines, a short distance from Merano. There's free parking. After about an hour, we admired the beautiful waterfall that bears the village's name. Continuing for another 40-45 minutes, we arrive at this typical South Tyrolean trattoria/farmhouse. The welcome was excellent, the food truly tasty, and the price was fair. We'll definitely be back!

I haven't been there in far too long... Still as good as years ago. Even the roast potatoes taste just as I remember. Thanks to the cook and the friendly service.

The cheese and bacon board and the Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) were delicious. Plus, the view was beautiful. Highly recommended.

We recently visited the guesthouse and were completely thrilled. The tranquil atmosphere alone invites you to linger – a place where you can immediately unwind. The hospitality is exceptional; you feel welcome from the very first minute. The kitchen impresses with high-quality, freshly prepared dishes made from local produce. We tried the roast lamb and the roast beef with onions – both dishes were delicious, served in generous portions, and perfectly prepared. Another plus: Access is easy; we were able to park right in front of the house. From the terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the waterfall and the valley below. We especially liked being able to sit on the grass on the terrace – and our dog was also very welcome. A place that we can wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely visit again.
