We were there for the first time today. We felt very comfortable, the welcome and service were impeccable, the food was completely satisfactory, highly recommended ☺️, we will come again 😉 thanks again

It's certainly not a typical South Tyrolean trattoria, but the quality of the food, the friendliness, and the hospitality of Marco and his staff are absolutely worth a visit. This restaurant, which exudes Sicilian atmosphere, proudly displays his ties to his homeland on the walls, and his dishes convey all his passion and love for the flavors of the island's cuisine. Eating an exceptional caponata surrounded by the Alps is a unique experience, as is savoring the seafood dishes, a balance between modernity and a refined exploration of traditional flavors. To finish, a ricotta cannoli that rivals the best Sicilian pastry shops. What more can I say? Head to Boia for an exotic experience in the heart of South Tyrol.

I visited last summer as a walk-in and didn’t have to wait long for a table. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice. A great overall experience!

We had dinner there for New Year's Eve... excellent service, varied menu and exquisite dishes... characteristic atmosphere... I recommend it.

We just walked in today without a reservation. We got a table. The menu was very elegant, with a great selection. I actually ordered the special: a fish burger with tuna mayo and pistachios in an Italian trattoria 😱 The burger was simply amazing 🫶🫶🫶, and my wife had pasta with arugula pesto and fish 👌👌👌 wow. And the fantastic dessert, Sicilian cannelloni 🤯🤯🤯🤯 Thank you so much for the wonderful meal 🫶🫶🫶🫶

Really cute place right in the city center. Excellent food, friendly, knowledgeable, and smiling staff. The owner is super kind and hospitable. Highly recommended!

We came in for lunch at the end of November even though we hadn't booked, and the owner seated us after only a five-minute wait. The place is very charming and quaint. Attracted by Sicilian food, it was a real surprise to find such a warm and friendly welcome. We ordered the paccheri with lemon-scented octopus ragù, delicious, and a perfectly cooked tagliata. We had a lovely chat with Marco, complimenting him on his originality in bringing Sicilian food to a region that's more German than Italian. At the end of the meal, without a word, he offered us a Sicilian cannoli to share, which was delicious. The ricotta was superb, with the pistachio crumbs top notch. The heart and soul of the Southern Italians is the courtesy they always show. Highly recommended. Merano is a little gem nestled between mountains and crossed by the river. Beautiful.
