I dined at this charming restaurant a few nights ago and it was a truly pleasant experience, one I highly recommend to anyone passing through Varazze. The food was excellent! I personally opted for the fried fish and vegetables, and it was truly excellent, light, and tasty. The service was perfect, with attentive and truly helpful staff. The outdoor tables create a truly unique and special atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The place is truly charming, with attention to detail and an intriguing atmosphere that makes for a pleasant stay. The cuisine also deserves praise: the dishes are tasty, well-prepared, and of excellent quality.
Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. We had to ask for menus, water, and even bread ourselves. The dishes arrived one at a time, uncoordinated, and the wine arrived only after we'd already started eating and after we'd requested it a second time.
A shame, because the beauty of the place and the quality of the food risk being overshadowed by sloppy service. With some improvement in this area, the experience could truly be excellent.

One star for the originality of a small courtyard in Varazze. The set menu is good but average. The price is fair. One star goes to the kind, polite, and professional waiter. Another to encourage improvement because the basics are good.

Don't worry, if the GPS tells you you've arrived but you don't see it, everything's fine. Walk down and around the corner from an anonymous seaside restaurant, you'll see this little courtyard with tables set up; it feels like a village. Every now and then, someone comes by, someone who doesn't know if they can get through there or if it's a dead end. You give directions, everything's fine :)

A unique experience at Garbassu in Varazze! The restaurant is very welcoming, tastefully decorated, and has a fairytale, original, and enchanting atmosphere. The food is fantastic, with limited but high-quality and fresh selections. Each dish is a true journey of flavors. The trofie al pesto is excellent! The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended!

Tucked away in a hidden alleyway. If you're not looking for it, you're unlikely to stumble upon it. A real gem!!
Few seats, a vintage style, and a modest but refined and delicious menu. Last but not least: the waiter is incredibly kind, a rare treat these days! Highly recommended! (Book in advance!)

Excellent food, but it's a shame I couldn't enjoy it because of the unbearable heat inside.
I booked a table and they told me it was inside near the French window. The temperature was unbearable, and when I asked for air conditioning or at least a fan, they responded as if it were an inappropriate request. They brought us fans...
I didn't leave only because for six of us on the weekend, it would have been difficult to find a table elsewhere. It's unacceptable to take reservations inside in those conditions! They should have refused me, or at least informed me and bought a couple of fans.

Abbiamo cenato ieri presso questo ristorante e devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta .
Location super caratteristica , pochi coperti e il giardinetto esterno con le luci e l’arredamento rustico lo rende un posto speciale .
Personale di sala giovane gentile e preparato .
Piatti buoni , porzioni giuste , prezzi nella media .
Sono vegetariana e non ho avuto problemi a trovare delle alternative per me , tra l’altro buonissime, le trofie al pesto patate e fagiolini sono fenomenali
Ci torneremo sicuramente .
