Gam Gam Kosher Restaurant In Venezia

This is a review for kosher-specific hence the 5*. The service is very good, all the staff are nice and friendly and the food came quickly. The knedilach soup was very good and the chocolate mousse. My mum really liked the meal itself, we had the pargit and the pappardelle with mushrooms.

Delicious traditional venetian jewish cuisine. Had the gam gam appetizers which are a great choice if you want to get a variety of tastes. Would definitely stop by if you are visiting the historic ghetto of Venice.

A friendly atmosphere, with good traditional Jewish dishes, accompanied by excellent service, make this kosher cuisine address an interesting place where you can refresh yourself in peace and serenity. Politeness and courtesy offered for the clarifications necessary to understand and then choose the dishes on the menu, combined with a more than reasonable and fair bill, add value to the good food brought to the table. Well done, an experience to be repeated.

Excellent cuisine, excellent vegetable dishes and generous portions. Absolutely honest prices. Excellent welcome and service. The restaurant is located in the old Jewish quarter, inn decor, not very spacious but there are some tables outside. 2 entrances, the main one is along the Cannaregio foundation canal, the other along a side street, c.le Ghetto Vecchio. A few steps from the S.Lucia railway station. Reservation is recommended.

Such a great Italian experience! Good food, good service and good company. what more can you ask for? Keep in mind, tips are not expected in Italy so you actually get service, especially when you're American and they know you may tip them

The only restaurant where there are no cover charges 😁very good dish! Just the slightly dry schnitzel but that's okay ^ the chocolate mousses are excellent!

If what I'm going to say shows a lack of understanding of kosher food, then so be it.... We happened to walk past one day and were attracted by the menu, so made a booking for a couple of days later Friendly place, choice of table. Felt somewhat amateur - eg drinks verbal rather than a printed list Pip had "spicy skillet sizzling chicken..." (or something like), me the Schnitzel, plus a shared lakta and a couple of drinks. Pip's chicken wasn't sizzling, the spicing was lacking, and there was no skillet. In fact it gave the distinct impression of having been pre-prepared and stored/held. The accompanying sesame (?) sauce was tasty, but not much of it. My schnitzel was workaday, came with a dollop of tomato ketchup. Both dishes had a pile of undressed/unsauced slaw - carrot, cabbage, that sort of thing - which being undressed was a right pain to eat. The potato latka nice and crispy outside, very dense inside. All in all something of a disappointment

food was good and fresh. ordered the massa’bacha that was delicious. never had an eggplant served that way before. also ordered potato latkas - they were very different from what i’m used to, however were interestingly. staff was very good, helpful and attentive.
