It's not the first time I've dined at this place, but this time it didn't go so well. I ordered a stuffed toast which includes cooked ham, mozzarella and vegetables at a cost of €6. I asked for the cooked food to be removed and mushrooms and artichokes added. At the checkout I notice that I am being charged €7 for the toast due to the additions of mushrooms and artichokes. I point out to the waitress that the toast had neither ham (at my request) nor vegetables, but only mushrooms and artichokes and I therefore ask the reason for this increase given that two ingredients were missing. The answer, in an unkind tone, was that they don't take into account the changes if ingredients are removed, but only if they are added. It seems unfair to me (and it wasn't for 1 euro that I was annoyed, but for the lack of courtesy with which I was treated).

I've been going to the Gallowai in Bassano for years and I must say that I've never found a cockerel as good as theirs anywhere else. Courteous staff. Environment suitable for everyone, parties, families, companies, etc.

After a few years I returned to eat here and I must say that the change is astonishing!! I ate an American-style cut of chicken that was amazing and the grilled vegetables were very tender. I'll leave the photos of the dessert which speak volumes about the goodness

Unfortunately I can't give 6 stars, I'm limited to 5. I'll start by saying that it's not the first time I've been there, but every time the staff always seems kinder and friendlier than the previous time. This time I was there for a family birthday and everyone was really smiling (NOT FAKE, THEY WERE REAL SMILING FACES! ). The dishes fully reflect the 5 stars I gave. Unfortunately I forgot the photos, but trust me, from the chicken (I usually get it spicy) to the sandwiches, you will leave truly full and satisfied. Very honest prices. Advised? ABSOLUTELY YES, even for those with disabilities: they have no problems neither at the entrance nor at the tables, much less parking.

Very good food and fast service

Amazing rooster and the rest is no less...large environment with plenty of seats. The staff is very kind. To park you have to go around the building because sometimes it is full of cars but there is room for everyone.

It's not the first time I've come to this place. I have to say that this time was not one of the best times. We had a barbecue for two people... the dish was plentiful, the meat was good... the only flaw was that the beef couldn't be cut (we probably got a piece full of nerves that we couldn't manage). The cockerel on the other hand was good even if a little overcooked. The other time, however, everything had been flawless.

Excellent dinner, the cockerel was nothing short of fantastic, shame about the dessert, too hard and therefore not very pleasant. Anyway, nice evening.
