We were very happy that we stumbled into this restaurant, and that it was open during the siesta time . Very friendly, great atmosphere, the food was very very good. What I love the most- the burger was without the bun. Great!!!! And fried potatoes were absolutely delicious

Excellent little restaurant among the Sassi of Matera, highly recommended. We had the tagliata, the eggplant ravioli, and the ferricelli pasta, all extremely good, even the stracciatella. The service was also very friendly, we will definitely be back.

Finally a place in Matera that is super welcoming even for big dogs like mine! The atmosphere is beautiful, and you immediately feel at home. A heartfelt thank you to the staff for their openness and kindness. It has become our new favorite!

03/05/2026: Surrounded by nature, conveniently located for many beautiful places to visit, the cottages are meticulously maintained and fully equipped, and the restaurant is unique and characteristic, surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. The owners are extremely kind and friendly, available for any need. A place that smells of goodness and peace, a place that will stay in your heart. We will return as soon as possible. Trattoria La Lampara Jonica

27/04/2026: Today, the three of us went to Lampara, my brother, my cousin, and I. It was truly a very fortunate coincidence. We met Pasquale, the owner, who was wonderful. After a pleasant conversation, he treated us like family. Not only did we eat wonderfully—the dishes were plentiful and everything was delicious—but the price was reasonable, thanks to Pasquale, a very honest owner. It wasn't over yet, as we were almost closing time, we asked if we could buy some tomatoes, and he, with his immense kindness, took us to an acquaintance of his, and we did some shopping—tomatoes, apples, and strawberries—which we'll take back to Modena. Pasquale and his wife are two wonderful people. Go visit them, you won't regret it. I apologize for this monologue, as I never write reviews.
27/04/2026: A place found by chance, and immediately felt at home! Run in an exemplary manner by a wonderful couple. Congratulations again...see you soon!
