FUD - Bottega Sicula In Catania

It's in a really hip part of town and the lines are usually long so we decided to go a little early and they had just opened. We got a seat right away but it took soooo long for anyone to show up to take our order even though the place was empty. Then, we weren't done eating when they tried to take our plates away, even though it was still pretty empty. No complaints about the food itself. Fresh, hearty and full of flavors. Not the service you'd expect on a Thursday in off season but foods great nevertheless.

Very good Neapolitan pizza, welcoming environment and excellent service and above all excellent and welcoming music. I come back again to eat Neapolitan pizza. I thank the staff of fud bottega sicula for the excellent service.

We visited to try a nice sandwich, which it didn't disappoint, but the sides were awful. The bad things about it: We tried potato wedges which were really bad, I am not sure if it was old oil and bad sort of potatoes but they were really not tasty and even some sauces couldn't make them better (the sauces on the other hand were also some cheap mayo ketchup and bbq sauce). We had panella which was really oily, greasy with old oil aftertaste. The craft beer had a cheap taste but it was really expensive compared to that- 6,50 for a medium size glass. The good things: The horse meat sandwich - the bun was tasty and fresh, the combination of vegetables and the meatballs was really nice, there was quality in the taste there. The sandwich itself is really hard to bite in or cut from and it is served on a board, so it gets really messy. The staff were friendly and they were really nice to give some recommendations on the menu. For me it would be definitely a skip for next time. It is overrated and it is more on the side of a fast food, the prices are restaurant like.

Me and my daughter are on a vacation in Catania and while strolling around in the city we came by this adorable, chic restaurant with such a friendly and romantic atmosphere. The staff are all extremely helpful and cheerful and the food was absolutely delicious. We recommend visiting this place wholeheartedly!

Pizza was just so good, they also have craft beers. Very nice location, definitely worth the visit.

Particular and very nice location, very kind staff, helpful and prepared for gluten free, the menu is very rich in gluten free foods. My compliments go above all to the boy who served us, the blond boy with blue eyes and a disarming kindness. The food, what can I say, amazing, excellent quality of all the products. 🔝

Fixed stop on all trips to Catania! Appetizing food, super friendly staff, nice location! For me a certainty!

Uno dei migliori panini che abbia mai mangiato, c’è tanta scelta, ma i panini sono davvero buoni, spero che aprano in tutta Italia perché il locale vale davvero la pena

Non decidendo cosa mangiare ci fermiamo in questo locale che alla vista presenta piatti molto belli e un’ottima varietà. Ci accoglie personale molto cortese e disponibile che ci accompagna nella scelta della birra, in quanto per il cibo eravamo sicuri. Optiamo per un panino con straccetti di maiale cotti a bassa temperatura con la birra e un hamburgher con uova e bacon. Arrivano i nostri panini con poca attesa e restiamo piacevolmente stupiti dalla qualità dei prodotti e dalle dimensioni del panino. Anche se le dimensioni erano degne di nota il pane leggero non ci ha appesantito e ci ha fatto gustare appieno il piatto. Per ultimo un dolce identico alla foto e di ottima qualità. Che dire, da provare assolutamente!!
