Frida Pizzeria In Palermo

If you love Frida Kahlo, then this is the right place for you. I specifically sought out this pizzeria so I could visit it like a museum; Frida's paintings and quotes were on every wall. As for the food, the pizzas were spectacular, delicious, and varied. We had two square pizzas, which were very good (it was so big I couldn't eat it all). The staff is kind and friendly, and they try to help and accommodate every customer request. I recommend calling ahead for allergies or intolerances, but there shouldn't be any problems since we had a gluten-free and lactose-free pizza.

Great pizza, just what we wanted—perfectly crispy, fresh toppings, and plenty of room. I highly recommend it if you want delicious, crispy pizza.

Probably the best pizzeria I've ever been to. Plenty of seating, both outside and in the air-conditioned interior. The service was friendly and helpful. The wait time was relatively short. Prices were normal. The only downside was the high coperto: €7 for 3 people. Remember, this isn't a tip, which, by the way, is due.

The staff is always very helpful and attentive. The pizza is delicious and the ingredients are top-quality.

Mixed review. We arrived a little early for our reservation, but there were no tables available, so we were seated at the very back of the room, where the echo was quite strong. The service was a bit slow, but the food was decent. The pizza was nice, even if it lacked a bit of flavor. On the other hand, the prices are really reasonable, which makes up for it.

I visited this place because it came up in my recommendations. I ordered a Capricciosa pizza (€10) and a Coca-Cola Zero (€4). The pizza price was quite reasonable, but I found it strange that a Coke costs nearly half the price of the pizza. My total bill came out to €16.50, which included the infamous "table service"- something quite typical for Italian restaurants, but in this case, the charge felt a bit steep. That said, I have to commend the staff. They were very polite and professional, which I really appreciated. I enjoy that kind of professional approach and it made a positive impression. As for the quality of the pizza - I have to say I was disappointed. Not because it was bad, but because I had higher expectations based on the reviews I had read. Honestly, the pizza was average. Not bad at all, just nothing special. It tasted like something you’d get in any other Italian restaurant. This is only my opinion of the Capricciosa pizza -I didn't try other options, which might be better. The atmosphere is very pleasant, both inside and outside. The restaurant is tucked away, yet still close to the city center, making it a great spot to take a break from the crowds.

Insanely delicious pizza in the "quadri" section. I have never seen or tried anything like this anywhere, I will miss this place because it was insanely delicious and the prices are good. Due to the fact that the establishment is not located on the central square, it is very calm and quiet here.

I'd love to go back! Very good pizza, interesting selection! Contrary to appearances, it's hard to find anything as good in this area!

Op een pleintje, buiten de drukke hoofdstraat, gelegen pizzeria met een fijn terras en volop ruimte binnen. Lekker eten, pizza gegeten. Snelle , redelijk vriendelijke - op z’n Italiaans - bediening. Gewoon en leuk en goed adres, met een prettige prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding.
