At Fricheria da Renzo, you'll also find fantastic first courses (I recommend the pappardelle al ragù), excellent cured meats, and aged cheeses. The homemade desserts, prepared with love and quality ingredients, are a unique experience.

A quaint place located in a very quiet area. A wide selection of frico dishes, but the menu also features first and second courses, mostly meat and cheese. Generous dishes and quality ingredients. It was a pleasant experience dining here, and we even had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Renzo, after dinner. Highly recommended!

Welcoming atmosphere and staff, with a culinary philosophy that shines through in the quality of the ingredients and the dishes served. The dishes are generous and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a try!

Non è alla moda, è una trattoria seria. Di fronte alla omologazione dei ristoranti in una zona certamente turistica il cavallino corre libero. Arredamento demodè in una strada di periferia, scuro di legno dentro ed un menù che è un piccolo libro.
Ma è la prima pagina che è una straordinaria dichiarazione di libertà e di anticonformismo. Bravo Renzo che fa coming out gastronomico.
Poi arrivano i piatti e non sono solo frico. Ottimi primi, sottilissimi affettati, formaggi e qualche secondo.
E poi la processione dei "frichi". Buono anche il vino della casa ma ci sono anche ottime bottiglie.
Il tutto a prezzi veramente bassi.
Servizio attento e amichevole.
Si poteva incappare in un ristorante per turisti: pericolo scampato.

Finalmente una fricheria. Primo maggio, dopo un giro per il bel centro storico di Strassoldo, pranzo con amici in questo locale dalla tipica atmosfera friulana: gente cordiale, sorridente e non in preda alla frenesia. Cucina tipica, ottimo il frico presentato in una miriade di varianti e altrettanto buoni i blecs, un formato di pasta tipico della zona e tirato a mano. Ottimo anche il prezzo. Consigliato!
