Excellent restaurant recommended for those coming to Rome or for those who are from Rome

We went to Friccico for dinner on a Saturday evening. The menu offers dishes that break tradition, with unique combinations: for example, we were intrigued by the roast chicken, but it required at least 35 minutes to cook, so we chose something quicker. We ordered the Roman-style saltimbocca with venison, an original and decidedly tasty dish with a rather pronounced saltiness. It might not be the lightest dish to tackle in August, but the flavor won us over. The prices are average: for a main course, a glass of wine, and water, we spent about €30 per person.

Such an amazing experience. We went here in a Saturday night without a reservation. The was only one waitress and she happily gave us a table. She was rushed off her feet but still happy and welcoming, she was fantastic. The food was unbelievably good. We had zucchini flowers, primi (one with duck, one with guincale), and beef tartare. Absolutely amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Not just one of the best places in Rome, but perhaps one of the best places in Italy. Impeccable food, all strictly homemade, featuring Roman dishes based on the original concept with a personal touch, like the venison saltimbocca, but also inspired by French cuisine, like the foie gras. Plus, excellent service that accompanies you through both food and wine, with a fine selection of Italian and international wines. You can really feel the love that has gone into this place, and it's definitely an experience worth repeating!

The dishes are very good but some are expensive for what they are, the quantities are just enough. The dishes take a long time to arrive (45 minutes of waiting each time). The atmosphere was good.

Found us a table for 4 at short notice on a Saturday evening. Excellent from start to finish. Quality ingredients, imaginative dishes created by the chef served by his wife. We enjoyed anti pasta de la casa , excellent home made foi gras, tasty pasta dishes including scampi sauce with homemade pasta. The duck main was very tasty. Well selected wines. Very reasonably priced. The restaurant was filled with locals. Always a good sign.
