Nice place, good service, good food but prices comparable to a starred one without being one. Elegant place but without Sicilian character. For the same prices I would recommend another place.

Good proposal, but not excellent.
It lacks something everywhere, except in the location itself. Wine list not abundant in quantity, but abundant in cost. Good food, but it could be Sicilianised a little more: the warm salad is excellent, the stuffed squid is good, but the squid itself is mediocre if tasted without the rest of the ingredients of the dish. Sufficient cannoli. I would have liked to spend no more than €60/each, as mentioned, but instead I spent €80/each

The opinion at the Fratò restaurant, a few steps from the center of Turin, was fairly positive. Pleasant and well-kept location, accurate and not excessively intrusive service. Purposeful menu, creates high expectations. First course with well-executed spaghettoni and sea urchins, good quality pasta cooking; the seasoning was very tasty, you could taste the sea in your mouth (perhaps too much). Grilled octopus remained soft and tasty, not rubbery; the very light accompanying sauces did not overpower the flavor of the octopus, but neither did they add anything extra (both for the purple mashed potatoes and for the green sauce, from which we expected an extra note of contrast, which would break the taste of the octopus which in the long run became monotonous). Excessively unbalanced value for money, even though the preparations were still of a high standard.

We returned after a week because we liked it the first time but we didn't leave the place fully satisfied, especially for what the value for money was. We had the same feelings again. The environment is very refined and the cuisine is refined but, at least for the 4+4 dishes chosen, not very satisfying. Impeccable service but something missing that makes you want to come back. I mean those two cuddles at the end of the meal that would be enough to make you forget what perhaps you missed in terms of flavor in a dish. This is also because the cost of the dishes is considerable. Another flaw is the wine list which presents a decent variety but with out of place prices also knowing the costs of the wines at the source.
A little effort and the stars will rise.

An impressive and well-kept location but nothing that recalls Sicily. Friendly but inattentive service. Long waiting times and overall expensive compared to the experience. Two glasses of white wine €12x2 without any indication of the price on the menu. Furthermore, the menu on the site does not correspond either in terms of offer or prices to that offered at the table. Too bad, we trusted, also considering the ratings, in a more satisfying and more Sicilian evening.

Fantastic place as nothing to say about the service, the guys were very kind and helpful, the only big flaw was the prices which were not like in the menu on their website but had also increased by 10 euros more like for example the paccheri or 12 euros for a cannoli , then in the bill they made us pay for 4 cannoli instead of 2, unfortunately we noticed this at home. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad but it wasn't worth the price we paid.

Sinceramente è incomprensibile vedere delle recensioni con una o due stelle.
Cena improvvisata capitiamo davanti al menu ed alla location e decidiamo di fermarci.
Piatti della tradizione superlativi, spaziando tra un primo di spaghetti al burro di agrumi e gambero Rosso ad un secondo di involtini di branzino alle olive e mollica. Vero spettacolo del gusto.
Cena conclusasi con dolci della tradizione siciliana. Un sincero complimento al cannolo scomposto
