It's like stepping into a country trattoria from the 1970s: everything has remained intact! Located on the Siena-Grosseto highway near Campagnatico, this family-run trattoria, where time stands still, offers a limited but quality menu. Excellent tortelli, tagliatelle, and pappardelle, all homemade, are excellent: the first courses are highly recommended. For the second course, the wild boar stew is flavorful but a bit tough, but you can also choose guinea fowl, chicken, rabbit, or tripe. Among the desserts, the zuppa inglese is a must for nostalgics. Service is slow...but relentless, and the friendliness surpasses the wait.

Everything they make is homemade: excellent tortelli and pappardelle, superb tripe and rabbit.
