The food is excellent and the preparation is very homely, the staff is super friendly, the environment is dated but that's not the problem. It is not refrigerated and the toilets are very dilapidated

If you're en route from Pisa via Grosseto into the Maremma and looking for a place to stop for lunch then this is a great option. Not far off the main highway and serving good Tuscan food from a chalkboard menu. Local food and atmosphere.

Senza tanti giri di parole, qua si mangia bene e si spende il giusto. A me piacciono molto i tortelli maremmano, fatti a regola d'arte e con un ottimo ripieno bilanciato. Poi non si può non prendere il loro cinghiale, veramente tenero e saporito. Prezzo molto onesto! Bravi..

Ero da solo sabato 5 aprile, ho preso un piatto di ravioli al ragù di cinghiale, un cinghiale in umido con patatine fritte, una zuppa inglese, il tutto accompagnato con una bottiglia d'acqua e un quartino di vino rosso.
Prezzo totale 37 euro.
Cucina semplice, casalinga, ma tutto buono.

We went there in the middle of the week. Very shabby place of a godforsaken country restaurant. Quite old. In the room no music or even a shitty TV nothing. Half empty. Oh well. We ordered. The appetizer was nothing special, two slices of salami, ham, two croutons. The homemade pasta was good although in my opinion too thin. Very dry sauce. Then I had the tripe, a miserable portion. A portion of wild boar and some chips. The whole thing 80 euros. It seems excessive for a spartan restaurant of that kind that doesn't even offer particularly memorable dishes. The dessert... They didn't have it.
Well I won't go back.
