Expectations were high, and they weren't disappointed. It's impossible to eat everything; we'll have to return to try the meat and other entrees.

PART 1
Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that we have the wrong days, or the wrong times (it was 9:30 PM), or we're simply different and therefore wrong!
Reading the other reviews, we didn't recognize ourselves in any of them, neither in the size of the portions, nor in the prices, nor in the quality of the cuisine.
The place is very pleasant, with the remarkable detail of entire walls covered in silicone or cork stoppers, applied with great effort by the CARPENTER, who deserves our praise, as well as compliments to the owners and waiters for the original and homely details of the place.
The outdoor area is unfortunately a bit noisier, so it would be better to eat inside, but they asked us to sit outside anyway. It's a riot of slogans and blackboards celebrating eating well and in abundance.
The service is excellent, led by diligent, attentive, and very friendly waiters, who explain all the details of the offer to us. They're genuinely concerned about satisfying our needs and ensuring our dinner leaves us with a pleasant memory.
Unfortunately, the all-you-can-eat menu can't be served as early as 9 or 10 pm. It's very affordable, coming in at only €29, although everyone at the table would necessarily have to adapt. This is partially understandable, although ultimately it rarely happens, especially with family.
The dishes themselves aren't that cheap, especially considering our recent visit to another fraschetta, Franchino, on Via Brescia, a much more central location. Not to mention the fact that bottled water costs a whopping €3, while other restaurants in this category offer the option of drinking the mayor's water. From this perspective, expensive New York, even in the most famous and VIP restaurants, offers free water. This is something our restaurateurs should quickly adopt, especially given the high cost of living we're experiencing, to better connect with their customers and certainly to leave a positive impression on their customers, who would certainly appreciate it, perhaps even allowing them to try an extra dish.
The waiter's friendliness, however, allows us to leave other worries behind and focus on the menu, where we have a choice of a classic amatriciana. It's emphasized that this is undoubtedly the best in Rome! This in itself may not make us defensive, but it certainly raises expectations considerably. To the objection that "many people say that in Rome," we reply that this surpasses all others.
The mishaps along the way:
- three meatballs with pecorino sauce for €11; four of different types arrive for €13; When asked, the waiter replied that there was only one left with pecorino cheese, so they thought it best to decide and send these over.
Besides, if anything, it should be the customer who decides, and we should be the chef. But then, to be fair, they should charge the same price and not a higher one, because that's what they wanted to decide. Not to mention that "the last one left" sounds a bit like the last meatball left over from another diner's plate... Which certainly didn't happen that way; obviously, I'm joking, but it does sound a bit like that. PanaTura, excellent, very good meatballs.

An ideal place for reunions, informal business dinners, and family gatherings. Cholesterol is a part of the table setting. A revival of the traditional fraschette (a kind of table setting) found in castles, and the idea of the drying racks with food hanging on them is a lovely one. The first courses and meat skewers are spectacular. Desserts are served at the end, if there's still room.

The pan-fried first courses were good, and the gnocchi were delicious. The house wine could be improved.

We visited Fraschetteria Ai 3 Archi and were thrilled! A place that perfectly combines authentic Roman cuisine with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, all at truly fair prices.
As soon as you arrive, you immediately feel the typical warmth of a fraschette: cheerful tables, the aroma of delicious food in the air, and smiling staff who put you at ease. The service is quick but never rushed, with attentive, friendly waiters ready to offer expert advice.
We started with a platter of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by warm bread and house wine served in a classic jug: simple but high-quality, the perfect way to start the meal.
The first courses were a true triumph:
The carbonara was creamy and flavorful, with the bacon just right and a pecorino cheese that didn't overpower but rather enhanced everything.
The amatriciana had a rich and fragrant sauce, perfectly balanced between the tomato and the savory bacon.
We couldn't help but try gricia, one of the cornerstones of Roman cuisine: truly exceptional.
For main courses, we had tender and well-seasoned lamb chops, with that light crust that makes it irresistible, and textbook oxtail stew: soft, flavorful, with a sauce that invites you to mop up every last drop.
Generous portions, authentic flavors, no frills: just good Roman cuisine, done the way it should be.
To round things off, we shared a homemade tiramisu and a sour cherry tart, both fresh and authentic, perfect for a sweet end to the meal.
The bill? Fair and more than adequate for the quality, quantity, and ambiance. You pay the right amount for truly great food.
In conclusion, Fraschetteria Ai 3 Archi is one of those places you'll want to return to the next day. Perfect for an evening with friends, a family dinner, or simply for those who want to enjoy authentic Roman cuisine in an authentic, unpretentious setting.

Davvero eccellente come qualità del cibo e assolutamente buono. Peccato forse leggermente pesanti i primi, poco digeribili e molto conditi

Antipasti abbondanti e buonissimi, il loro stendino è sicuramente il cavallo di battaglia per eccellenza, primi della tradizione fantastici, menù vastissimo e la variante “Illimitato” è consigliatissima.
Personale cordiale, gentile, simpaticissimo e ben organizzato.
Ambiente accogliente e familiare.
Tornerò sicuramente.
