What a terrific find! We choose La Carrettiera because it was close and reasonably priced. What a gem!! Delicious food, warm friendly hosts - we will be back soon!!

Welcoming restaurant, very friendly staff. The food is good because you choose quality over quantity. I recommend parking near the restaurant.

Giovanna and her brothers…here, no professional chef cooks, but Giovanna herself prepares her family's dishes. Everything is explained personally, including her grandfather's special pasta dishes…down-to-earth, for the locals, no frills, just honest cooking…simply delicious. We came as guests and left as friends…Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Not to be missed during a stay in Milan, we had a great time, had a good laugh, unbeatable value for money, simple but very good cuisine, no overcharging unlike other restaurants in the area, so satisfied with the first meal that we went back 3 evenings in 4 nights there 😉👍

Delicious food, friendly staff. We arrived in Milan that day and wanted to enjoy a delicious meal. At the waiter's request, we ordered our dishes, ending with a grand dessert.

Family-run restaurant.
Simple, old-fashioned.
It's now become the place where we always meet up with friends from our youth.
They've also grown a bit fond of us; every time we visit, it feels like coming back to a welcoming home.
If you're not afraid of garlic, you have to order the pasta alla carrettiera. It's a secret recipe. Don't worry about allergens; all the staff knows exactly what they're serving; just ask.

The atmosphere is strictly '70s/'80s, which I love.
Even (and especially) strangers are treated like regulars.
Reasonable prices because they're done for rip-offs...
The highlight is the food: tasty and plentiful.
Don't miss the fried food...
Well done (but you already know that).
