Fra Sacrantino In Montefalco

We went in without knowing and left with the intention of letting many people know about it. The strangozzi were excellent, with a final mop of bread and excellent shank. The bruschetta was made to perfection👍

I opened the menu and immediately caught sight of the plate of homemade gnocchi with a Sagrantino reduction, and I had a good idea. Fantastic! 😍

I was satisfied with my plate of stringozzi, and the girls who served me were friendly. I ate lunch outside, and given the hot day, there were fans on. Prices were reasonable.

The staff is really friendly and attentive. Plus, the value is excellent. Affordable coffee with a wonderful view of the square. Highly recommended.

Had to wait a-g-e-s for food and drinks. Had to motion to the waitress several times. Forgot drinks, served others who had arrived later before us. However, food was decent enough (pizza). Maybe the base too thin...I know authentic Italian is thin base but this was like wafer. Very tasty though. Nice staff though, maybe they were just over-run and not able to deal with lots of tables rather than being unprofessional. Had a nice chat with a couple of them, and overall had a very pleasant evening. Great location right on the main piazza too.

Excellent breakfast in the square in Montefalco. Definitely good pastries. Less so the coffee. The service and friendliness could be reviewed in a moment...

A highly recommended and highly recommended place... very good typical local food, very good service. It's very well located, on the side of the square. The gnocchi alla Sagrantino are delicious!! It's worth a visit!
