And then, one evening, you decide to return to where it all began in the city that hosted you for so many years and has now hosted you again for a few months. My break was about 15 years. Time then changes many things, over the years you hear the stories, you try to get information from those who have left something inside you, a pleasant memory, a sensation, a smile. The first time at Renato's was in 2004, as soon as I arrived in Sassari, they told me "we'll take you to eat a special sandwich"... at the time it wasn't usual to find such a place. Then the years passed and many evenings those sandwiches accompanied me, satisfied me, made me happy... at that time eating a sandwich at Renato's in the evening was magical! Then... the pause. And here we are today...well: someone told me that you were no longer the same, that time had changed you too...luckily I'm not someone who easily trusts other people's opinions and thank goodness! Tonight's sandwich, the only true Hambovo (with recognized copyright, it must be specified so that no one illicitly appropriates this name) not only did not disappoint me, on the contrary... I found everything, better than before, from the taste to the consistency, from the dimensions even more generous to the inevitable dough that only Renato knows what it really is made of... there's nothing to be done, for me you have remained number 1! In addition to this, tonight I found humanity, this made me really happy. What is now missing in many large corporate and catering establishments where arrogance, superficiality and snobbishness reigns without having, many times, even a tenth of your quality. Thank you for this sandwich, thank you for giving trust to those who still believe in the power of passion for their work and full speed ahead!

Thank you guys for your professionalism... a big thank you to Renato, who with a spirit of sacrifice built up this beautiful company... I will never forget the year it opened in 1985... 40 years have passed and you have proven to be a great professional, serious, and always with a smile...the support you have from your team, Ivana, Franco, and Ale demonstrate the seriousness you have with the legendary Panini which bring people from all over Sardinia...well done, keep going like this ....
