Refral: not only did they bring the Hambovo, one of the most beloved sandwiches of all time (even by yours truly, who tries them everywhere), to which I'd default to tomato and lettuce for an even richer flavor, but it's also a sandwich shop where you're always greeted with extreme kindness and courtesy, both over the phone and in person—a rare gem in my opinion. I've been ordering their sandwiches for as long as I can remember, and over the years they've never stopped innovating, from seating right next to each other to adding vegetarian options. Perhaps for the more discerning eaters, they could improve, perhaps adding a sandwich with only vegetables, for example, but they're still consistently good; I've tried them. In short, Refral remains a reliable choice, and since I finally managed to take a photo before eating it all (with difficulty...), you too can enjoy it!

Re.Fr.Al. ("da Renato") is a true piece of history in Sassari, and it's easy to see why it's still so beloved today. Since I no longer live in the city, I can't go back as often as I'd like: it was a regular stop during my university days, but after revisiting it twice in the last few weeks, I can say the quality is the same as always. The burgers are one of a kind: large, tasty, with ingredients that set them apart from the classics. Despite the post-Covid changes, the service has remained fast and friendly, with even a room next door so you can enjoy your choice at your leisure. What certainly doesn't hurt is the prices, which haven't skyrocketed like they have elsewhere. A historic place that continues to be an absolute guarantee. Highly recommended. P.S.: Among the many choices (plus the mix of layers to play with), and you're undecided... Well, you can never go wrong with Hambovo... 😂

A stunning place that I recommend visiting at least once in your life. Everything is spectacular, and you have to go hungry; the portions are huge. 🤪🇮🇹

What am I even telling you? This sandwich shop is out of this world!!!! It's incredibly famous throughout northern Sardinia, and people come from all over to eat their sandwiches... and they deserve it! They're huge, delicious, chock-full of top-quality ingredients, and all at a super-fair price. Even the drinks are super-fairly priced (€1.50 for a can of Coke, for example). I hope it never loses this popular spirit, because it's part of the magic. Highly recommended! P.S. The staff is amazing, super kind, fast, precise, etc. P.S. I'm not a relative or friend, I live in Turin, and every time I go to Sardinia within a 200kg radius of this sandwich shop, I plan a trip to eat there specifically.
