If you are in the area of ​​Lana for the “Stardust” Christmas markets, you cannot miss a stop at the Forsterbräu Lana. The quality of Forst is always a guarantee, and here a welcoming atmosphere is added within a truly evocative park. The dining room staff is extremely kind and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. During our lunch break, we tasted dishes that combined tradition and taste: • Delicious pork nose salad, seasoned with raw onion and cherry tomatoes. • A hot and tasty barley soup, perfect for cold days. • Roasted pork ribs with barbecue sauce and horseradish, accompanied by a delicious jacket potato covered with mascarpone and chives. Everything was accompanied by Forst brewery excellences: a fresh unfiltered beer and the classic Christmas beer, which enhanced every flavour. The portions are generous, the service is impeccable and the quality of the dishes is unquestionable. Congratulations to all the staff! We will certainly return and recommend everyone to live this unique experience. Thanks for everything!

Good food and nice environment too, the only flaw was the waiters who were a little too serious, but I understand given the amount of people there were. Be careful not to order too many dishes as the portions are gigantic.

Endlich Es war den Sommer sehr schwierig einen Platz zu bekommen. Die Forst/Lana ist fast immer ausgebucht. Also bitte immer rechtzeitig vormerken. Auf jedenfall ist das Personal immer sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Pizza konstant gut, nein sehr gut. Das Ambiente gemütlich. Wir werden den ganzen Winter immer wieder einkehren.

I got there by mistake, but I was pleased. It was Sunday and we were looking for a restaurant with local cuisine. The menu offers good proposals, we chose a meat dish. With lots of side dishes, potatoes, peppers, mushrooms. All very tasty. Washed down by the inevitable Forst beer. Excellent service, very friendly waiters. Advised.

Eigentlich kehren wir hier seit Jahren immer wieder gerne ein, denn das Essen ist sehr gut, reichlich auf dem Teller und das beste sind aus meiner Sicht tatsächlich doch die vielen unterschiedlichen (aber egal welche) immer leckeren Pizzen. So besuchten wir auch in diesem Urlaub zum Einstieg das Forst, wobei wir dieses Mal tatsächlich zunächst recht harsch angepampt wurden. Wir hatten tatsächlich keinen Tisch reserviert und einfach auf Glück angefragt. „Kommt in einer Stunde, aber keine Ahnung ob dann was frei ist.“ So wurde ich auch noch nie abgefertigt, ein anderer Kellner der meinen doch entsetzten und auch verärgerten Blick sah, fragte mich, ob wir auch im Garten Platz nehmen können, was ich aufgrund sehr angenehmer Temperaturen gerne annahm. Das Essen war (wir hatten alle Pizza) sehr lecker und der Service draußen war auch tatsächlich sehr nett. Wenige Tage später war die Dame dann äußerst höflich. Scheinbar haben sie hier die schlechten Tage nicht im Griff. 😉

The food was hearty and finely balanced. The staff emphasized the warm atmosphere, you immediately feel at home when you enter the inn and it only ends when you leave. An absolute hotspot for regional, southern Alpine flair and cuisine at relatively affordable prices!
