For the past four years, every time we've been to Assisi, our regular stop has been the "Foro Romano" restaurant!
Friendly staff, always available to help customers, especially us, who always bring our kids. Very, very good food and low prices for what you get! Everything is delicious! Our favorite place ❤️

A great place for a casual, no-frills meal. Classic self-service restaurant with a wide selection and generous portions. Prices are reasonable compared to the Assisi average. The pizzas are good. It's a shame it's only open for lunch.

A simple, clean, well-maintained self-service restaurant with truly delicious food. Excellent value for money, and the staff are friendly and ready to accommodate every need. I ordered a takeaway pasta for my child, and they were quick and attentive.

A great place to stop for a quick lunch if you're passing through Assisi. The torta al testo is delicious. Service is quick, there's no cover charge, and there's plenty of seating inside. The place is cool and charming. Prices are moderate.

I really appreciate the self-service option; you can see the dishes before ordering. We arrived as soon as the restaurant opened, so we were able to choose a table and sit down without any problems, and then it filled up. The food was good, but it was a shame about the salad, which I didn't find fresh. I should note that I had sent a WhatsApp message the day before to reserve a table, but received no response. I definitely recommend it for a quick, yet tasty, lunch.

We went there during our free time on the bus tour.
The restaurant was empty, and we were able to choose our favorite menu items while the staff explained the prepared dishes to us. We were able to pay and arrive at our destination in about 10 minutes.
The truffle pasta was excellent, and we also enjoyed many other vegetables. We were very satisfied to be able to eat local food at a reasonable price.
