They serve sandwiches and pizzas that they make themselves, and since it's a bakery, the prices are among the best in all of Florence.

Perfect spot near the Duomo for a quick and delicious lunch! We stopped by after our first lunch option had a long line. They have free focaccia bread and wine available outside, which is what originally enticed us. We ordered 2 prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, and mixed greens sandwiches and a turkey, cheese, tomato, and mixed greens sandwich. The focaccia sandwiches are huge! I thought mine was delicious, honestly just as good as the Pinos sandwich I had the day before (probably due to their fresh baked focaccia)! They have a few indoor seats and more outdoor seating, though no tables, along both sides of the road.

This place is fantastic. They are located in a parallel street of the main walking street. It is still touristy - but what isn’t? You are in Florence. However, this place still carries the authentic charms of an Italian bakery. We stopped after visiting the Uffizi. The sandwiches here are huge and pretty cheap. One sandwich is enough for two or even three people. Best thing (apart from the lovely staff): they serve free wine!!!

Schiacciate ripiene con ingredienti buonissimi, pizze di tutti i tipi veramente buonissime… servono le schiacciate calde, all’interno ci sono posti a sedere su un bancone (non tantissimi) però anche all’esterno ci sono alcuni sgabelli, comunque si può prendere i prodotti e mangiarli per Firenze. Staff davvero carino!! Consigliatissimo!!!!

I went to this lovely bakery for lunch. First of all, compliments to the guys at the counter for their kindness, then let's get to the food. The menu is divided into round and schiacciate pizzas, both filled. Personally, I opted for the schiacciate but I promised myself I would return for the pizzas. The thing that immediately catches the eye (given the exorbitant prices for a bite of cooked ham that they offer in bars) was the price: 5 euros and 50 for the simplest cooked ham and fontina, 6 euros for the others. The second thing is the proportions: truly exaggerated (I had them give me a little bag to take it away and I even had dinner there in the evening!!). The third, last... but not least, in fact... is the quality of the products: apart from the schiacciata itself which is delicious, the fillings are also of excellent quality. Congratulations to everyone!

Sono stata in questo forno a due passi dal Duomo di Firenze, quindi in pieno centro, carinissimo per pranzo. Innanzitutto i complimenti ai ragazzi del banco per la gentilezza, poi veniamo al cibo. Menù diviso in pizze tonde e schiacciate, entrambe farcite. Personalmente ho optato per la scelta tra le schiacciate ma mi sono ripromessa di tornarci per le pizze. La cosa che salta subito all' occhio (visti i prezzi esosi di un boccone al prosciutto cotto che propongono nei bar) è stato proprio il prezzo: 5 euro e 50 per la più semplice cotto e fontina, 6 euro le altre. La seconda cosa sono le proporzioni: veramente esagerate (io mi sono fatta dare un sacchettino per portarla via e ci ho cenato anche la sera!!). La terza, ultima... ma non meno importante, anzi... è la qualità dei prodotti: a parte la schiacciata di per sé buonissima, anche le farciture sono di ottima qualità. Complimenti a tutti!

Phenomenal schiacciata very reasonable prices

Forno Sartoni Firenze. We ate some very good pizzas. The spinate were fabulous, everything was delicious. Great prices.
