Found by chance because it's close to our accommodation, it was a wonderful discovery! Excellent schiacciata, filled in large quantities with freshly sliced ​​products, including mozzarella and tomatoes. Excellent quality, good service, very fair prices. Recommended!

I love this bakery. They have many types of bread, schiacciata, and pizzas with many different toppings. The staff is friendly and helpful with your selection.

There is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere inside. The products are very fresh and delicious. It’s an ideal place for breakfast or for grabbing something to drink in between. We really liked it.

I must admit, I was shocked when I looked in the door and saw a different window display than the one I'd been used to for over thirty years; the historic Forno Sartoni has been under new management since April, with new staff and new food options. The counter offers both Tuscan specialties, such as the classic Schiacciata, which can be filled with various ingredients and is ubiquitous in the city center, and Neapolitan specialties like the Parigina or the Panino Napoletano; the latter are my favorites, with their generous and flavorful fillings of cured meats and cheese. Of course, pizza is always available, available in various types and sizes; I had the round four-cheese pizza, while my partner had the ham and mushroom one, and both were good, with a light dough but a bit sparse on the toppings; a handful more would have been enough to outperform the competition in the area. I'm still curious to try other Neapolitan specialties; good quantity/price ratio, the more expensive products are still well filled.

We went to eat at this place. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was quiet, calm, and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the waitresses were super helpful. Definitely worth a try.

We happened to pass by this REAL bakery, and were drawn in by the aroma. We went in and enjoyed an excellent filled schiacciata, with a quality-price ratio that, given the prices in Florence, I consider unbeatable. The kindness of the staff and the option to eat on-site are further added values. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
