if you are waiting to easily Speak English in Rome then prepare to disappoint your self! even in the airplane, in ITA airways they are refusing to speak English! so this forno is one of these places that you need your body language to order but they still seems polite and the pizzas were soooo tasty! i didn't tried the bread but also looks amazing. you can sit there or take it away but sure you will enjoy it. the box of pizzas in the photo costs 25€

Always a lot of people for this beautiful bakery with a large selection of products, from bread to puff pastry, from baked goods to good but not sublime pizza which however has a great cooking on top.

A nice place with exceptional products, 8 stars for the speck pizza and the croquette. It's a shame there are only a few seats, which are often occupied for a long meal.

Incredible bakery in Rome. Good spot for classic Italian breakfast. The coffee and pastries were great, for a very affordable price. The interior is also very good, it is a nice place to sit in and enjoy the breakfast.

We had breakfast here and the pastries were good. They also have good Roman-style pizzas.

For previous reviews regarding English speaking customers… I found the staff was happy to speak to me in English and even though I tried to order in Italian, I didn’t speak it well enough for them to understand me (thus the rest of the conversation in English). Being in a foreign country not speaking the native language is intimidating. Thanks to AI, It is very easy to learn the customs for ordering. While each establishment may vary, here are some tips for bakeries in Rome: 1) go to the cashier and place your order. Al banco to enjoy there at the bar, da asporto for to-go. They appreciate paying with Euro vs card if possible. 2) the cashier may pack and give you some or all of your items and give you a receipt. If they do not give you all of your order, go to step 3 3) give your receipt to the staff behind the counter and they will give you the rest of your items and make your beverage(s). They may call the order out or they may place it on the counter so I think it’s up to you to watch for it. Forno Monteforte has the best pastries and cornetti I’ve tried in Rome. Absolutely delicious. Don’t tell my French friends, but these have a bite/chew and flavor profile that’s absolutely divine and the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of trying. Do not miss this place!

Everything was fine, we only had two coffees, and they were good. In general, if you like your coffee hot, order it very hot in Rome, because they'll bring it lukewarm.
