Excellent bread and excellent biscuits, I haven't tried anything else....... on 12.14.24 I purchased some buccellati but unfortunately I found the filling lacking in ingredients....better to sell them a little more and make them tastier . Apart from the buccellati everything else is ok.

Ancient oven with "village" bread as we say in Palermo, simply delicious. Atmosphere of times gone by, kindness and professionalism. It makes you hungry just smelling the scent. It's best to book the bread because it's packed especially on Sundays. Excellent bread

Prodotti di alta qualità e prezzi non proprio bassi. Peccato che quando siamo arrivati nonostante su Google ci fosse scritto che era aperto ahimè erano in chiusura e siamo stati trattati non molto bene.

Historic oven in the center of Monreale. The sfincione and cunzato bread are delicious but everything else is also very tasty. Possibility to eat in the square. On Sundays it closes at 1.30pm

Since the Cathedral of Monreale was on lunch break, I looked for this bakery in the downtown area and went there. It was well past lunch, so there wasn't much bread left, but I bought a tomato and cheese panini (later I was told it was Pane Kunzato) and a slice of Mariana pizza. The pizza was average, but the Kunzato with tomatoes and cheese was delicious! We ate at an outside table, and the occasional pigeons that came to visit us on the laid-back street made us feel refreshed. There were many customers coming to the store to pick up the bread they had reserved, so I thought it would be best to arrive early.

This is a gem eatery in a gem of a place, Monreale, Sicily. It's what we call a dell, but in this case it's a gourmet place where you can find belly comfort with Rosalia's sandwiches and home made snacks. The sandwich we had was made of anchovies, mozzarella and tomatoes. While these ingredients may sound normal for an Italian fare, in this instance it was indescribable in how delicious the end result from the delicate hands of Rosalia was. Wonderful venue to sit and enjoy this old alley while munching on Rosalia's artistry of a sandwich.

10/01/2025: Savoring these ice creams is a mystical experience, just as (see some interviews with the Cappadonia ice cream maker that you can find on the Internet) making them is a mystical experience. The outline (professionalism and courtesy of the staff, layout of the sales points, variety of flavors available and the way in which the flavors present are illustrated, quality of the cream - among other things without adding a price, their care in making it visible on Google Maps the periods in which the restaurant is closed) is in line with the ice cream. When you reflect that, even among all the premium ice cream shops, it is precisely in this one that you were able to taste the granita as it was as a child, you think that it is not strange, that of all places you can do it right here. It would be strange if it weren't so, if you think about it. Visiting the ice cream shop justifies the trip from other provinces (Gambero Rosso is right).
