It would be 4 stars if the prices were lower. A flatbread with tomato, oil and cheese for 6 euros seems a bit excessive to me. Still good.

La cura e l'attenzione per le materie prime fanno da padrone; il titolare, considerato "il Maestro" da tantissimi pizzaioli Siciliani, cura con attenzione la selezione di farine per gli impasti, ricerca degli ingredienti, il tutto abbinato con ricercate birre artigianali e vini sia siciliani che nazionali e internazionali. Quella sera abbiamo gustato un "piccolo" giro pizza: una con tipico impasto da pizzeria moderna (biga con tipo 1 forte, chiusa con la stessa), una ai 7 cereali anche qualche seme oleoso e germe di grano tostate (commuovente), una di grano duro sorprendentemente leggera nonostante la tenacità del glutine di tale cultivar. Abbiamo proseguito con una magnifica selezione di tagli di carne (la meno scontata lo scamone di scottona). Chiudiamo con un dolce tipico la cassatella fritta con ricotta di pecora. Fantastica esperienza.

In San Martino delle Scale everyone knows it for its focaccias and cunzato bread, for the sfincione and for the tagliatelle with beer, a very pleasant environment, excellent food, absolutely recommended, to try (and then return)! (in the photo the focaccias with porchetta, the cunzato bread, the sfincione from Palermo and Bagheria, the cod meatballs, tagliatelle with beer and tagliatelle with wild boar ragout)

Exquisite food, top quality ingredients, excellent service. It was truly a great pleasure to dine at the Forneria. The added value is the very kind lady Elisabetta, very attentive to customer requests and super knowledgeable about gluten free. Absolutely recommended 😊

I ate very well in the company of work colleagues. Everything was very good from starters to dessert. All accompanied by an excellent artisanal blonde beer under the Forneria Messina brand. Excellent service! I recommend you get to know Mr Messina, the owner, who will explain the dishes and the origin of the raw materials and, again, can recommend wine or beer to accompany the dishes. I add that this reality, like other local ones, must be considered, with pride, ambassadors of Sicily. I recommend it to everyone
