We attended a tasting and dinner at the vineyards. The dinner was quite normal, we had high expectations, hence the disappointment. Regarding the service, it left a little to be desired, as the tasting was of 3 labels and they were not replenished.

EXCELLENT FOOD, SERVICE, WINE AND LOCATION! My experience at Foresteria Villa Cerna at the end of March was truly memorable, despite a rainy day that unfortunately prevented me from enjoying the beautiful terrace overlooking the vast wine lands of the Cecchi family, in the heart of Chianti Classico. I can't wait to return in the summer, when a sunny day can make the experience even more enchanting. Despite this, eating inside the restaurant was also surprisingly pleasant. The setting is elegant without being pretentious, with a touch of minimalism that makes everything welcoming and familiar. The paintings, books, fresh flowers and bottles of wine on display add character and create a warm atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident in every corner. What makes Villa Cerna an unforgettable experience is certainly the quality of the food, the excellent service and the competence of the staff. The maître, Andrea, welcomed us with elegance and availability, telling us interesting stories and accompanying us discreetly throughout the meal, without ever being intrusive. His courtesy and professionalism were impeccable. At the end of the meal, I had the pleasure of speaking with the chef, whom I complimented for a truly excellent job. Let's move on to the dishes, which were a real delight. The seasonal menu offers a selection of dishes ranging from Tuscan tradition to more innovative creations, and it is difficult to choose which was the best of the three first courses we ordered. But, in general, everything we tasted was impeccable. We absolutely recommend everything we ordered, along with a tasting of their excellent red wines. Here is what we chose: - Grilled artichoke, Parmesan fondue, sage pesto: simple but well-balanced flavors. - Tuscan EVO oil buttons, chickpea cream, rosemary: a unique dish that unleashes all its potential once you break the button in your mouth, releasing a mix of flavors between oil, parmesan and Maldon salt flakes. - Tagliolini with truffle: the best I've ever tried. - Fabbri Fusillone, Colonnata lard, raw red prawns: a risky fish and meat dish, an experiment that was a great success anyway! - Beef tartare: the preparation with the egg inside the tartare was particularly appreciated. - Sautéed spinach: a simple dish that really surprised us with the freshness and genuine flavor of the ingredients. - Torta della nonna and cream ice cream: very good in a really successful reinterpretation. - Brownie, white chocolate namelaka and salted caramel ice cream: absolutely a must-have!

Fantastic dinner in the vineyard, beyond the beauty of the location, the convivial spirit of this wonderful organization must be rewarded. Super recommended experience. Congratulations to manager Luca and Elena.

We had lunch in this splendid place surrounded by greenery and vineyards by pure chance, but I assure you that it was a real surprise! The environment is cared for down to the last detail, the staff is present but never intrusive, helpful and very knowledgeable about the characteristics of the dishes offered. Everything impeccable, I really couldn't find faults, except that the meat ended up in our bellies too soon 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely worth trying!!!

Luca was the sweetest guy in the world. Extremely helpful, friendly, funny. He made us feel at home. And the Dinner in the Vineyard experience is well worth it. Lots of wine and lots of food.

Questo è uno dei ristoranti migliori in cui sia stata. Il posto è bellissimo e curatissimo e l’esperienza che abbiamo avuto (nel giorno di Pasqua) è stata magnifica. A parte il cibo che è di altissimo livello, tutto lo staff è attento, gentile e disponibile, ma in particolare un ringraziamento da parte nostra va al ragazzo giovane che ci ha seguiti, di cui purtroppo non ricordo il nome, la cui passione per il proprio lavoro e la competenza ci ha lasciati senza parole. Ci ha suggerito e consigliato, raccontandoci anche la storia di alcuni vini che abbiamo scelto per il pranzo. Andateci !

Muy buen servicio; atento sin ser intrusivo. Llegamos en bicicleta; estaban muy relajados sobre nuestro atuendo y guardaron nuestras bicicletas de forma segura. Los entrantes fueron excelentes (5 / 5 ) platos principales muy buenos (4 / 5 ) . Optamos por nada de vino y nada de postre ya que estábamos en bicicleta más lejos!
